I feel the tea garden should be completely closed. Its like British rule in the tea garden..they people live a pathetic life..they have no time for their children .the students go back to tea garden n work as labourers. Its a viscous cycle😢

Thanks for this wonderful documentary. Here I am sitting thousands of miles away drinking Darjeeling tea. I say thanks to all those hard working tea garden people whose brought me this wonderful taste of the Darjeeling mountains. Truly grateful. To the management I say, take good care of these hard working people. I have stayed in these estate bungalows as guest so I know what I am talking about.

Can we people of Tea Garden look up for alternative living options instead of tea workers so we can get rid of this sort of things ? We have been deprived of all facilities from the Govt state and central ! We should look for something for the future will have some problems probably will be better in the future.

Darjeeling's people should make orange plantation for themselves instead of tea plantations for their betterment in futuristic time.

Darjeeling's tea gardens' owners are becoming richer n richer but labourers have continuously been becoming poorer n poorer each n every time but no any sympathy from the central government too.

Darjeeling Tea - INR 90,000/- Per Kg. Wages of the Labour - INR 120/- Per Day. My India is great. 😢

Wake up government. Make some proper working regulation to safeguard well being of those poor ill treated workers and their families. Do ot just look after the interest of plantation owners.

Such heartwrenching to see plight of these hard working people. 100rs for a day work! What happened to minimum wage? It's difficult to believe that no govt entity is intervening and things are running as these managers please! More power to these hard working people, I hope things take turn for better and they get the facilities they deserve. Tea cultivation is such a lucrative business and high end tea sells at such high rates, it's inhuman on these companies part to keep everything and not give money to these folks. 500 a day is also too low, in my opinion considering the back breaking work they have to do.

আমার দেখা সেরা ডকুমেন্টারিগুলোর একটা। আসলে চা বাগান, চা বাগানের শ্রমিক সব জায়গায় একই রকম। চা - শ্রমিকদের জীবন - জীবিকা, জীবনের সুখ - দুঃখ, যন্ত্রণা সব একরকম। এখানে, বাংলাদেশে আরো খারাপ অবস্থা। গানের কথাগুলো আমার অসাধারণ লেগেছে। খুবই আবেগী। সীমান্তের এপার থেকে সুজন কান্তি দে, কক্সবাজার, বাংলাদেশ। আমি আমার ফেসবুক টাইম লাইলে এই ডকুমেন্টারির লিংক শেয়ার করেছি। শোষণ - বঞ্চনা থেকে মুক্ত হোক পৃথিবী।
