Finally, I uploaded a video for once. Hopefully Ill do more. Nice run, a few setbacks in District 13 and waste station could have made it a faster run. Diggy Mole or Billy Boom as the first boss would have been better than Dr.Turret. Would have loved to have chromatic powder instead of hot potato but rng was not it there.

Roboquest runs surprisingly well as a VR game when transformed into one. I should lower the graphics a bit to get a consistent frame rate. May do a G4 run later. I guess the jetpack ran out of fuel in the first phase of Iris huh. Terrible run and recon melee builds are just not for me. However, the rng did side with me somewhat today. Jetpack did not want me to fly in Iris phase 1.

You get it somewhere in haven city, just pickup quest items through the game, and then give it to a robot in one of the color areas in haven city and you will get grapple and jetpack, + a bonus jump

when you go into the corrupted challenge rooms, why do you not take the jump pad out? if you bhop at the door, you can retain all the momentum from the booster

Recently started attempting speedrunning and got 18:33 on G4 with commando. This is awesome though. And I never knew the comet cannon could be so good

7:41 How come in the upper right corner the experience is C, but when you leave the location you get S?
If you go to one of the side areas instead of to the end of the stage the requirements change since you can't possibly get that much xp without clearing everything.
does the left hand do anything motion-wise? it looks like the secondary attack just follows the main-hand's aiming.

Hey man, i know im a bit late but i wanted to ask if its still possible to play in coop with a friend while having UEVR on and my friend on flatscreen or does the injector stop me completly from joining another lobby that doesnt have it? thank you again!
No worries. I haven’t tested it and I don’t know if it might have negative side effects but you could go for it if you really want to. I think it might work but considering you are altering a few elements of the game it may or may not work properly.

I tried this and didn't seem to have the same experience as you. The crosshair didn't match the shooting at all, and something about the movement made me feel really nauseous. Were you standing up?
Look for tutorials if you havent about the in-game menu and lower the graphics. It can be a bit framey, especially in haven where theres so much happening. Having more smooth movement helps with decreasing motion sickness. Also, theres a config you could download with pre-set settings for aiming. I'm unsure about the nausea, maybe try the config and see if the improved aiming helps? I'd also say that playing Roboquest in vr is very hectic and might not suit you if you are a newer vr player.

Feels like a diferent game , with VR we jump and dart around less I for one dont like the aspect of the game forces you to speedrun-jump-dash like a maniac all the time. Wish the game was more designed towards "play smart" than "play fast"
it’s kinda the whole point of the game, being quick. if you want to play a non movement shooter, there are a lot of other games. you also don’t even *have* to play speedy
@@DoktrDoom I understand. game is vastly different on end game difficulty with gadgets on. wish I knew before, the game is great but the plataforming aspect is not for me. I have middle age man reflexes now , lol I'm here because I enjoy aiming at critical spots, that and weapon variety is what motivated my purchase
