Hey do you remember the transition between ps3/ps4 and 360/one Games we're only getting the dlc for the newer consoles so people bought last generation games for nothing remember GTA 5 DESTINY ... What is your point here...cuz playstation is a really bad company on a lot of aspect and i hate a lot of moves they did in the recent years but i don't see a problem about moving on finally to those (next gen console) if we don't move up it's the whole industry that suffer. Developper need to make those games to run on old hardware and new one so you can't really say a game is next generation if the only difference is 4k gaming or by adding ray tracing... The game need to feel next gen and for this you can't just continue to make games on both consoles. For now i think the only games that feel next gen are still ratchet and clank and the demon souls remake no one asked for. If no major changes happen soon these consoles generation are worst than the ATARI and the video game crash era. At least they were making NEW games back then.

I really dont think being a streamer is a justified reason to buy something like that, first of all you are never going to see above 1080p on a stream, then you have to consider compression from the site like youtube or twitch, you should buy it cause its going to enhance your experience as a whole, always look at what improvements come with it first. dont buy first then judge later

My cents on this, really is that while the PS5 Pro does sound promising in some aspects especially improving FF7 Rebirth, it's missing a lot of elements like having Disc Dive from the get go and the price is way too much for an upgrade, even if your have a TV that can run 1080p, it's not worth it. At this point you kinda want to invest on a PC with a very solid GPU/RIG or even a 4K TV for that kind of money As for the State of Play Rumour, if that does happen true and I say IF. Then I kinda think Sony is on a weird downward trend. Last we saw them release Concord and then had to shut it down being a massive failure, and then afterwards we had a success with Astro Bot, with being a massive W But with the PS5 Pro's Reveal, and a State of Play that again doesn't show some 1st Party games, as we're close to near the end of the year. It kinda paints a picture that Sony is not having a strong year, and will really need to fix that for next year, as stated. But then again AAA gaming is kinda in a tough rut, especially how much of a mess the Gaming Industry is in right now

I'm more concerned about the plan for the game as far as padding. I platinumed FF7 Remake and Rebirth, but some of those minigames and VR gauntlets were absolutely horrible in their design. I was able to justify the time sink by walking on a treadmill, but I can see how for a lot of players the time spent in frustration has burned them out and given them sour grapes. Now, elitist gamers, which I am NOT, often will ridicule the amount of people complaining with sour grapes, but from a business standpoint that is very bad, as players with sour grapes don't buy from the company anymore. I think this started with the excess in frustrating minigames and gauntlets in Remake, and I know a handful of guys who didn't buy Rebirth because of it. I get that it is "optional" content", but that optional content should make players like the game more, not less, after interacting with it. Things like the Chocobo gliding, getting the top score on those, was insanely frustrating. Straight up unreasonable. That took me away from the main story and gameplay for 3 hours. Again, on a treadmill, that's okay, as I can still win even if I lose. But, for normal humans who sit down, there is nothing to show for that time spent. They haven't progressed in the game, and lost 3 hours of their life, spent mostly in frustration. So, the difficulty in the minigames needs to be scaled back. Now, as for the VR challenges, I don't have a complaint about the difficulty of the bosses themselves or even the concept of a gauntlet where you only get 50% % 30% of HP and MP restored each round. My issue is the lack of checkpoints. Again, on a treadmill, I could justify spending all my free time for two weeks re-beating the same bosses in Rulers, Bonds, and Hero, over and over until I was finally done, even lost 5 pounds, BUT for most gamers, they got burned out because of all the time spent repeating fights they already know they can beat. Real-time, not counting ATB pausing like the game does, the player just spent anywhere from 30-45 minutes doing something, all to have to re-do the same thing. After a while it gets boring, like a 30-45 minute cutscene you have to pay perfect attention to, or it too will reset. I can see why that really burnt out gamers who weren't getting anything in return for that time sink. Unless someone is on a treadmill, and doing this to lose weight, it's not good for one's mental health to waste that much time repeating a task, because near the end a tiny mistake sent them back to the start. Heck, 1990's video games often could be completed, start to finish, in that much time spent. Would adding checkpoints have made them "easier"? I mean, if the bosses did the same amount of damage and all that? Technically it would be the same level of difficulty, boss for boss, but wouldn't punish players by wasting many hours of their time repeating stuff. Again, they'd still be limited to the 50% & 30% restoration, so they'd still need to conserve their stuff. The end gauntlet of Hard Mode at least had checkpoints. And I'm saying this as a guy who completed those challenges, but only because I had a method to actually get something out of it. But I can see why so many people were really put off by it. And players ought to like a game MORE after completing the optional stuff, not less. There is a lot of stuff to love about the game, but the frustration factor in optional content needs to be scaled back.

World suffered in the monster variety, solely from engine issues. World proved to Capcom that MT framework was trash. A section of that team spent a year trying to get zorah magdaros to work, so you wouldn't slide off or fall through him as he moved. Now yeah in programing that's not easy but, to put this in perspective, in 2003 so a year before MH1 came out Insomniac made a game on the PS2 not only with this mechanic working, not only with Mario Galaxy's main gimmick 4 years before that came out, but that game which was Ratchet & Clank 2 Going Commando took them a year to make as a whole on a modified racing game engine on the PS2. World was a fantastic game but, programming wise, it was an embarrassment. That's why Rise had a new engine and why Wilds is using that engine instead of World's. If this wasn't the case, we'd have had either the leviathan skeleton for lagi working and/or simply more of the other skeletons that are easier to use in World from that year of development they lost so many people on.

This game is too overly bloated even part 2 is meh. I wouldn’t say this is the best FF. It definitely is different and pretty. But the facts are this game is just a way overly bloated game that builds hype around the FF7 title.
