This season and next season are going to be rough. Rodgers leaves Celtic in 18 months. Rangers need to prepare for that moment so when Celtic are going through a transition, they can take advantage of that. There will be an opportunity and rangers can’t miss it. I’m a Celtic fan with a best mate who loves Rangers, all out lives we have enjoyed back and forth’s about our teams. I like watching you lads cause you remind me of him and his opinions. I have to say though this European narrative is a massive cop out and I tell him the same, it’s not even the elite level which is the CL obviously, I watched the Lyon game start to finish and it was an absolute beating, the reason I being that one up is because they are only a decent team but they are unique, they are unique because they have about 3 or 4 proper electric champions league style players that you don’t really see in the Europa until the later stages. I think you simply cannot overlook the fact that was a beating, and you can’t overlook Nice being out of the Europa already and dropping 9 players. Here’s the thing, I will never overlook the fact that we have the chance to get to 11 points if we beat the whipping boys of the tournament, we also got lucky enough to get Bratislava in our group, to me those two are Europa level at best, that’s what it would be like if we were in that tournament every year, we seen Rangers in the CL not long ago and we know how that the turned out. Everyone quite rightly is over the moon at that result, but to be fair, we were pretty much gifted all of the goals last night by Rangers'esque defending. Apart from our breakaways we were wasteful with the ball and I am sickeningly sure we will go back to the same slow, laborious, boring style that we have come to detest. I pray that Clement has actually seen what we have been seeing for months that Tav and Dessers are dragging us down and sticks with that team.
