Create & Test Football Plays | CHALKBOARD Trailer
มุมมอง 9946 หลายเดือนก่อน
After months of work on the side, I am ready to reveal Chalkboard! Chalkboard is a software I have created that allows you to create and test both offensive and defensive football plays. I have wanted a program that could do this for years but never found one. Either the program would let you draw a play, but not run it; or you could run the play but were limited to premade formations and route...

Passing Concepts | Football 101
มุมมอง 249K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Ever wanted to learn more about football? Want to learn the X's and O's and what they mean? Join me for Football 101: a series where I take the knowledge of your regular NFL fan and expand it to topics found in the film room. Today's topic, passing concepts. Also, if anyone can tell me who is on the thumbnail and why he is there for this episode of Football 101, they will get a shoutout in the ...
3:00 No, more people CAN be on the LOS, but the only elligible receivers will be the ends and whomever is off the ball.
When you do see a cover 3 with man under it it's in prevent used late game when you know it's a long yard hail Mary type moment and you have to prevent a big play or score and that's all you are concerned with
Your def is way more detailed then passing concepts I like it
Absolutely great content, I was wanting to over some things more in-depth with my son and then I was trying to find something that he could watch on his own when he's back over at his mom's. A lot of the coaches that he's had he's literally played all over. Linebacker safety corner d-line. They just plug them in everywhere and it gets kind of frustrating because I don't have a lot of time to work on anything specific with him. And I was basically trying to go over and explain what he's looking at. When is lined up in different coverages on different situational moments. Because he has to know how to run a cover 3 when he's outside linebacker covering the flats or if he's playing corner and they're doing a cover to or it's an inverted. So you putting in a flood a flood concept right in the very opening. Was great timing because that's what we were working. But I do want to add from a technical standpoint, when you were saying 3 by 1 part. I've had a coach to me that way and I've also had different terminologies coach to me as well, things like trips and bunch to seem to be pretty universal. But I did have to kind of go over and cover additional ways people will call something. Even though it's the same thing just like when people say pop soda or Soda pop. So keep that in mind you make these videos. Also because there is so much to the game you could do so many videos. Like how you covered the smashed to a small degree and then you did a few different variations. But one of the key things that's missing yes you had to keep features to identify. However you you missed the coverages these concepts are designed to attack with the holes are in those coverages and then of course there's a plethora of different formations you can run the same concept out of. Because my kids younger version of the concepts that I showed him were in like power running sets with greater tightened usage. Like you briefly mentioned some of the idea of how you can flood a zone. However that's only like half of the benefit of the actual flood scheme. I get it's a beginners intro to a mid level of understanding. Put the people that are watching this type of content are football junkies. So maybe go more in-depth on a single concept vs all the Coverage it face why they would adjust to said coverage. What team composition is more effective per concept.
Any update on the release
Thank you
This is awesome, I am still struggling w/ all the terminology but this game is so cool
What about match coverage?
Explained in such a way that its easy to understand. Thank you for this video
I’m a 4-3 the same as 4-3-4
keep up the good work man these vids are awesome
2:12 I thought there was no maximum amount of players who could be on the line. The outermost receivers are the only ones eligible in that case, though. Am I wrong?
Great stuff! Learning these to get better at CFB 25 xD plus it’s pretty interesting to get deeper into the sport just because
You should do coaching trees in relation to concepts/schemes. The beginning, brief history and its traces to the coaches in today’s game
Bro u don’t even know how these lil things help out im not gonna say im the smartest person when it comes to football cause im not but i do understand route concepts etc but the way u describe things make it so easy to pick up on n I can’t wait to do sum this year n make a name for myself
Hi ! I+m from Colombia i'veen watching footbal since 2007 and playing madden too. This video explain me a lot, as u say, there is no reason for a fan to wattch the game with other criteria like analysis o studyng the game. Great video.
Really helpful for someone who just started watching football a year ago, thanks 🙌
How should a person who just started a new adventure of Professional Arena Football use knowledge and videos like this to get better? I watched three videos already and feel better. I hope to make my athletes watch these videos
good day I am a new O.C if you have any information on the youth level. Can you send me tips different fronts. I will be using a lot of 10, 11, 12 personnel sets.
I am not an expert at all, but I see that zone coverage has built in seams which can be exploited over and over.
@Drums-yz4ss yes...every defense has a weakness on every play...that's the key
Looks so cool! Cant wait!
On the mesh route, the receiver has the responsibility to avoid running into the DB.
What software do you use for these analysis?
Bro, thank you so much for this
Wld suggest more videos on blocking rules and how to ID photo block
Yo I loved this video! I just finished coaching my first season of my kids pop warner team and it was super fun! We ran a mix of strong I- power & ISO and then some splitback shotgun with post-wheel & Y Stick. Took us a few games to get going but when we did we got some wins and almost got back to .500! We cld run the duo/power 3 or 4 different ways depending on if we were up against a 4 or 5 man front. I also finally talked our defensive coordinator into putting a strong kid at cornerback on the the strong side after seeing the RB vs CB problem, not knowing all that I learned from your video. I really wish I wlda known why they call it duo for the double teams and pushing the DT into the LB. The team we struggled against and lost bad to was spilling the LBs to spy the RB and we hadn't really started passing alot yet so yeah, that was a tough game! Great info here tho! What's up with the app? I emailed you a few weeks ago and still interested for sure!
Goat video, really was jus lookin for the counters to each coverage when I stumbled upon this video n you actually broke it down well
i thought he is gonna talk about football, i guess i was wrong
@@masudabadalla3240 ? This is 100% football.
@@robertm1122 I don’t if know this or not but the rest of the world doesn’t call whatever this is a football
@ then go to a non American website.
I thought it was when the Center and the QB never....then that's when the RB comes in, OR comes in the center and the QB.
Also, a TE or eligible pass catcher is apart of the set (not rb). So empty with a TE on the line is a 3x2 set
Its always great when a team comes together and has a great season. So many parts go into making a competitive football team. Its amazing really. The ultimate team sport. From the equipment managers to medical personnel right on up to coaches, players, teams and schools. American football is the greatest sport on earth and its not even close.
I wish I knew about these videos before. Absolutely superb. Clear, concise, and easy to understand. Thank you!
You left out 14 personal
You’re doing a great job with these man. I DO NOT WANT TO CRITIQUE YOUR WORK AT ALL but if you really focus on cleaning up the audio and slow the delivery just a bit and add a little more emphasis and tone you could really take off as far as an educational channel. Excellent work though and thank you.
What about 5 wide? 0?
How do I access the software so I can try it out. I love 🏈 and I've created multiple plays myself but can't test it in an application
Should’ve said you can’t put a skill position on the line, and between two linemen.
This video is soooo briiiiiight
Thanks!
Make another video about more of these coverages and some defensive stunts that you can do in these coverages
I love the zone run scheme but it helps to have good pulling guards and I prefer this scheme with a fullback. With these nuances met you're going to rip off at least 8+ yards per carry.
This channel is upping my football IQ from 13 to 43 easily! I can now watch football with a new lens and argue with the television and friends with confidence!
Hey I hope you take this suggestion the right way: Your video has great content and excellent visuals, but the audio of your voice is noticeably muddy and would be hard to hear clearly in a loud environment. This is already a great video but could be even better if you got a new mic or recorded in a more quiet area with less echo.
Godbless yall
Jesus Christ died for our sins on the cross and was buried then rose on the third day and was seen in Jesus Christ name we pray Christ is king! amen✝️👑 For God so loved the world he gave his one and only son to die on the cross for us so that whoever shall believe in him and puts there faith in him shall not perish but have eternal life🙏
Praise Jesus
@@Theonetheydidntsee and he preferred a gap scheme attacking offense and played a lot of show 2, play 3 covereage
Jesus Christ loves yall
2:36 Lions Fans are punching the air right now
I understood that reference
Really well explained, theres these other channels that over-complicate things and you just make it easier to understand, thank you
For cover 3 and 4 you only showed 2 deep players. Why is that? Do the corners drop back to cover those zones?
Please make it louder.
