    You talk too much. Get to the point. 2nd video about cleaning grout off tiles you NEVER say how long between time you apply grout to time you sponge off tiles - MOST IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW!! 10 minutes? 1 hour? Several hours? Focus on the job and the important facts. Lose the unnecessary chatter! Still have NO IDEA on how long to wait before sponging off tiles! Poorly done.

    Great video. How does the floor look today? Has the sealer lasted ? I find that topical sealers, especially cheap ones, tend to get scratched off by sand particles and furniture. A concern would be that if the sealer comes off, then dirt will stick to the grout that you've spent so much time filling. You'd then need to clean the entire floor thoroughly before re-applying the sealer. Any updates on your floor as it is today please? Thanks

    Nice work! Would be interested to see how the upstand/skirting turned out. Thinking of doing similar but don't want a load of extra faff with grouting between the pieces of upstand (since it would be made up of tile lengths, 600mm in my case).

    probably should allow the concrete to dry through and prime it before the self-leveler goes down, otherwise can lead to failure and having to take it up and redo it

    Good idea. I’ve always put my top/btm front screws in front of the hinge plates instead of behind them. That way the hinge hides it once the door goes on. Otherwise you can still kind of see it behind the hinge plate.

    Nice work but more adhesives should be added to the lower layer of tiles so as to raise up the lower layer of tiles to the same height/flat level with the lower metal edge. This is to allow shower water to drain away without accumulation, otherwise a thin layer of water with dirt will be kept within the lower edge causing molds and fungus over time

      @bigpouse ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the reply. I think I understand what you are saying. However, in this case, this is tiling a window reveal. It is in a bathroom yes. But not in a shower? It never gets wet. It doesn't need to be tiled. A lot of people would very often opt to simply paint it. . I hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
