good call. it just broke $110
Yeah, I definitely think long term the company has serious growth concerns, and Amazon is not helping them.
Haha I came to check this video out after seeing that too
@@WalterNulled They got absolutely nuked lol
@ hahah crazy, same as jet blue, both beat expected earnings and still got hammered
@@WalterNulled Yeah, I just don't think either are quality.
I enjoyed your video about EPD. I started investing in EPD, ET, and PAA about 18 months ago. The main reason is the tax treatment about distribution or dividend. You can avoid or delay paying tax about 80% of the dividend received. That's a huge saving compared to common dividends or interest. The stock cost prices, however, will be reduced by the dividends you received. When the cost price is zero, you have to pay all tax on the additional dividends received. I also trade options on EPD and other MLP stocks. The tax treatment of the capital gain from these MLP optios are 40% short-term and 60% long-term even if you only hold the options for one day. Again, very nice tax advantage. If you plan to keep the MLP stocks until you pass them to your heirs, their MLP stock cost prices will be reset to the maeket price the day you passed away. However, they need to keep the MLP stocks for at least one year before selling, otherwise the cost prices will be those before you passed away. I also added MPLX, WES, and ARLP to my MLP stock list last year. All are doing very well. Maybe it's just pure luck. With option hedging, they are pretty stable. Last few months, they extended to upside excessively. I am expecting some pullback anytime. But I think they will be part of my long-term investment for sure.
I think the stock is low because of the massive debt they carry.
@@dalec2407 yeah i definitely think that’s part of the business, since these pipelines are so initially costly.
How much tax $ is being spent over time on the dividends that are being earned then reinvested?
@@buddy_love I believe it is taxed at the rate of whatever your current tax bracket is. I’m not a tax professional, and I’m also not personally at the point where I’m making a huge amount in dividends yet so I don’t really see very much taxation personally. I think the federal maximum is 20%, but i think you also need to factor in state income tax.
I think so far the only thing the new ceo has done is set up the condiment table in the lobby, free cream, and free charging, maybe that will being in customers
@Hellocali1 Can I have that job 🤣 I want the same pay too LOL!
$ATVI sold for 95B, $NTDOY is valued at 75B
I think that part of that high valuation was also due to the fact that microsoft had so much money and it made sense for them to buy. I was mostly just evaluating by the cash flows, but I suspect there are certain advantages and disadvantages to the fact that Nintendo is a Japanese company. I think they are very different but I would need to look at old cash flows to decide which one is better. My gut says that Nintendo is probably more valuable, but I also think that the actual games being made are probably worth more than consoles. Very interesting comment to think about though, thank you I appreciate it.
@@Dividend_Enjoyer Thanks for the reply. If Microsoft is willing to pay 95B for ATVI, I'm sure they would have giddily spent that to acquire NTDOY, seeing as they have referred to it as the "crown jewel" of acquisitions. I think individual value investors should feel confident that they are not overpaying based on their financials and buoyed by MSFT giving us a recent comp for a large, and less diversified game developer with much less valuable IP. NTDOY does have the risk of another wiiU flop, but if that's excluded then the risk:reward ratio and NTDOY's future looks bright. Thanks for the video.
Merci pour le vidéo!

Could you do an analysis of HQL?
@@raw480 I can take a look, but it does look like something that would maybe be very difficult to value. I can definitely make a video on it though!
Reason it fell was the pandemic scare, anything related to oil fell like rocks. it is only natural for it to come back up and along the way buying other pipelines that got put under because of the pandemic. This is a very solid stock as well as PAA. For some reason I believe, only a hunch, that sometime in the future they will merge into a powerhouse. I hold ET and I sure hope for the best with the Trump administration.
I kind of feel the same way, I actually think there might be some synergy with the new demand for energy for ai training but that’s an optimistic assumption.
Bad take...look up uncrustables sales
5 year graph is negative still.
Do you like aci
I don't know a lot about the specifics of $ACI but it looks like the market cap is lower thank Kroger. I personally don't care for big retailers overall, but I think there's a chance it could be under or overvalued! I think there are definitely some other companies out there with better balance sheets and chances for growth.
Dcf is fine and all but i think all the regular rules dont count when you are looking at the semi conductor space. You might consider relative valuation to give you some idea. And then, they are in a monopoly situation. When you are analysing now you are pricing like it has competitors which it doesnt.
@@AlphaMaverick82 That makes sense, I tend to like always being extremely conservative and risk that my fair price is too low, because I think that takes away a lot of risk on my end. I understand how good the business itself is but I don’t know how they can consistently grow these fcfs reliably. I completely understand I’m not an expert in the field, so I could be under valuing them.
@@Dividend_Enjoyer From your video i can sort of extract your way of viewing stocks. The problem with DCF models: The terminal value often represents a significant portion of the DCF valuation (sometimes 50-70%). If the assumptions about perpetual growth rates or exit multiples are inaccurate, the overall valuation may be misleading. Semis are cyclical: Cyclicality: Companies in cyclical industries (e.g., energy, materials) may have fluctuating cash flows, making long-term forecasting challenging. One-Size-Fits-All Approach: DCF assumes a stable, linear growth pattern for cash flows, which doesn’t account for real-world business volatility, competitive pressures, or economic cycles. Ignores Intangibles: Factors like brand strength, market dynamics, or management quality are difficult to quantify in a DCF model, yet they may significantly affect value.
@@Dividend_Enjoyer a DCF model is biased towards No debt - high free cash flow on hand and high growth within the measurement period. But a healthy Company reinvests their cash in the business and gets Great Returns on capital. So imho, we should look for businesses with manageable debt (lower end), good and stable margins or expanding margins, and Great Returns on invested capital. You reward stability and cash yes, but efficiency of Capital employed is more important. Monopoly situations make for extreme premiums. ASML will never get bought out, you are misunderstanding. These guys deliver equipment to Nvidia,. So that overvalued company depends on this undervalued Company.
@@Dividend_Enjoyer ive also looked at statistics which suggest that pricing has much closer links to growth and profitability of the company and thus DCF by itself is sort of irrelevant. Its definitely a factor, but its like looking at P/E and P/B.. Yeah the Great stocks are highly valued to these ratios but that doesnt mean they dont go higher. The truth is actually counterintuitive.

@@foresighttrades I’ve got 3.25 shares now after making this lol 😂
Analysts are really bullish on ASML because they have a strong moat around their company, I saw someone say their technology is around 5 years ahead of their competitors. Which they have very few of already. The machines they produce are extremely complex and By the time competitors get close to catching up with ASML they could be even further down the road technologically.
I think that makes it even harder to analyze too. I definitely think I could do a lot better job researching semi stocks, but I just find the sector very difficult to know what will actually make a ton of money and what is being overhyped. It sounds like the expectations are very high for good reasons.
I also think if you know which chip stocks will have the most growth, you will make ridiculous money.

@@WalterNulled I think so too, but I have so much money in vici, I think this is very safe because of the large portfolio of real estate you’re getting. Seems way undervalued for what it is unless I’m missing something major lol.
@ what do you think about the outstanding shares growing? Doing some more research. Either they fund via Debt or issuing more shares and interest rates aren’t dropping, could they issue more shares?? Either way, still a buy for me, haha.
@ it’s definitely not good, but it makes more sense for them to get more money by issuing more shares, because the debt would probably be more costly with rates as high as they are. As long as they can collect rent reliably and buy more properties I think they’ll be okay in the long term. If you’re buying more I would also maybe research if there’s any risk in their tenant base but on first glance it seems like the panic and overselling is too much on the stock.

What is your opinion on penny stocks?
I think there’s more potential opportunity for growth since the market caps are lower, but I don’t think the quality is nearly good enough to justify the risk. Here’s a fun topic: could we be in a tech bubble?

The Robotaxis are going to be a step change in both revenue and margins, a simple YoY growth rate isn't going to take this into account. So is it overvalued if you don't take those into account? Yes of course. But this is about self driving and robotaxis, Musk has said multiple times that if you don't believe Tesla is going to solve those then don't invest. Basically its a binary bet on if Tesla solves self driving. PIlot service in Texas and California to start in summer of this year.
That business is 5+ years away from being even an option. And even once implemented it would take years to bring actual revenue. Tesla’s growth is based on feelings, not on facts.
I agree with @jjose252 but it could go either way I think it’s a 90% chance Tesla does not make expectations, but never underestimate a guy who over estimates himself tbh. I would never buy puts but I would also never buy Tesla stock
