xmen 97 morph is based more off of exiles morph and they can duplicate PHYSICAL powers while mystique cant duplicate powers at all. exiles morph can also take on the form of inanimate objects but i doubt they will make this morph that powerful.

in the comics, mystique's mind is described as "slippery" and hard to grab on to by the professor. this is revealed in her first solo series when she worked for him as a spy and he threatens her "just because i cant read your mind doesnt mean you are immune to my powers." her shapeshifting makes her nearly immune to mind readers but she can be brain blasted with the best of them.
