Can you rate my collection thus far? I got my PS5 in 2022 and bought a ton of games but haven't gotten to most of them. I buy games on a whim and just don't have time to play them haha. You CAN mod a flat 2ds, i have one with me and it has worked like a charm! Sure i cant really play virtual console stuff but, i didn't know about that when i got my model so for what it is- its still pretty good!

I got one during early black friday sales in australia I got the ps5 and the new spiderman game for a very decent price it’s a christmas gift for my sibling so figured I better get it now while it’s cheaper and put it away for the next four weeks so keen even though it’s for my sibling I will be playing games on the ps5 for sure the last console I had was a ps2. 😅

emulations is only nice if its not anything rare good for common games only

Steam deck can even emulate some switch and ps3 games pretty good.

I plan on modding my 3DS and downloading pretty much every game I can get my hands on, labelling the SD card with a typed up table of contents and having multiple SD cards dedicated to particular things. GBA, DS, 3DS, etc. in 2024, the online servers for 3DS are being completely shut down. Also, You can still mod any of the models of DS. The only thing that changes is the method.

I want to buy the steam deck OLED so bad, but then I would have to sell my original steam deck for dirt cheap because right now There's a million ads up on Facebook marketplace selling them for $300 and less. So i guess I'll wait till i see a used one for cheap and ill buy it. I would also like to get my hands on the ayn odin 2 but I also just bought the razor edge 5G so I'm in the same boat as with the steam deck 😂

Just discovered the retro gaming scene.. AND I FEEL LIBERATED

I never had any issues with emulators on pc, you can easily can just plug in a controller. It's even more easy on Linux where you don't even need to install drivers.

I think eventually emulation will be the only way to play most games. Even modern games and systems will lose support one day and if you don't have a running console and thousands of dollars worth of games there will be no way to play. Everything is going digital and once the servers shut down even if you own a licensed copy of the game there will be no way to download it legitimately.

Got mine 2 weeks ago and I can assure you that upgrading from the ps3 really showed me the difference in load screens and smooth gameplay. Hands down the best purchase of 2023 with no regrets. Hope you ps5 owners out there enjoy the console ❤
