Mine has security light but it turns on after i start driving, lately my van is doing same thing as yours, it cranks but doesn’t stat

Having this problem with my 2016 nissan. Hasn’t worked so far. Had the car jump started 3 time and bought a new battery, same thing happened 2 weeks later

What if my security light just stays solid in my 99 suburban?

For anyone with a Toyota Camry 2011. I have the push start. And an anti theft system that unlocks the door by itself when you come close to the door handle. What I think happened is I open the door to quickly. The blue security might was flashing. My key fob wasn’t working. And the dash cane on a the radio worked. After waiting a bit I pressed the push start button. Then i pressed the unlock button on the key fob. Turned right back on. Luckily worked.

Gonna go pick up my Chrysler 300C srt8 2008 this afternoon. Same issue, some hobby mechanics tried everything, even putting an emulator on the computer, didn't help. Those boys are honest men, they told me "we couldn't fix it so you owe us nothing", if the problem continues to pop up I'll try your hack.

my damn lite is causing serouis problems as it's been on since I've had the car and now it's in the shop for a simple belt but the car won't start due to theft light on my 2000 Ford Taurus help

I have 2008 Dodge Nitro. So far the car has not started. The lights, etc work fine. Not sure why it’s not working for me.

The security light was flashing my 2001 S10 zr2 I took the key out and went to get My tech2 and came back 10 minutes later and the light security stopped flashing and my truck started!! Go figure???😊😊😊😊😊

October 2024, Saturn ion lock light flashing, looking through my Saturn book and TH-cam with no fixes just blah blah finally saw your video put the key in bells and whistles going off and left the key in until the lock light stopped flashing and pulled the key out and stuck it back in and it started thank you for spending the time to make this video and getting to the point on a awesome fix! I'm saving your video on my phone because its definitely going to happen in the future but now I got this video saved! Thank you!

Reading the comments, I say this is a dirty low down shame, that a factory anti-theft system causes GM customers to be without their vehicles for so long trying to figure this out.

A lot of these are temp fixes, it buys you time if you really have to break down and see the dealer

Just sharin to my experience!!! I currently have 2 appointments one for dealer and another for a decent auto service. My main mechanic referred me to another guy to save money. That however started a chain of 4 straight times of being sent to the next man. They were either backed up, didnt have programming capability, or just plain out did not want to deal with it. ITS A PAIN. Some will tell you straight up you might need to see your dealer. Got to make an appointment.for who knows when. Then they cant read the code if the LIGHT IS OUT!!!!. Guess what i have an upcoming appointment and the LIGHT IS OUT. But no sooner i cancel it will be back on . Hopefully and maybe when i crank up the light will be on when i drive it to the shop , just me venting

My Wife savef me 😂!! You can stick your key in the car door but hild your tour for 30 secs, pull it out , if you have fob disarm then stick in ignition should firr up in about 5 secs or less

I left it like that and I feel like it almost killed my battery. Still wouldn't start tho...

I'm having this issue on my 2013 Elantra Hyundai is a push start car tho so I can't use the key to turn it on i need some.

Worked for me brother, got it to turn on! now I have all kinds of lights on 🤦🏻‍♂️ stabiltrak, ABS, trailer, and trailer brake system. Dang AutoZone people messed with all my fuse boxes

Worked for my Lexus es300 my car would not start at all i came to this video and i kept the key in on the on position the beeping started it cut on thank you !!!

OK, but I have to reprogram my key like twice a day. There’s gotta be something else I can do. I cannot turn my car off because I DoorDash so I waste gas every day because I have to leave my car on because I don’t know if it’s gonna start.

I just finished assembling my car after rebuilding the engine and transmission. The car has been layed up for 15 months due to parts etc. on my first startup attempt the car turn 3 xs but didn't start . On forth attempt I got the no crank no start problem. I'm gonna try this when I get back home and hope it works . I've already checked battery , starter , relays and fuses everything is working. I jumped the starter from the relay and it turns the motor . From beginning I thought either the car thinks its in gear or the security system is stoping it from starting . Wish me luck 😂
