This is what I mean when I said find some musicians that don’t care about playing out. Most our age don’t really care to do that. We have a blast trying to do songs we thought we’d never be able to play. If I can find them here in this small town surely there are loads of them out there.

It was but it was a long ride for the first day excursion of the year. I went on many short 20-50 mile rides locally over the last 6 months but by the time we finished this 150 mile day both of us were ready to be home. I have a family friend on Dorothy's side down in Cosby TN that's about my age and he goes all over the country. I admire him for doing it because those 400 to 600 mile days he puts in have to be rough.

Thanks.. I’m just starting out with editing so basically I’ve only figured out a few of the many effects that can be accomplished. I’m only using I video software that came with the I Mac where I can cut, trim, enhance, and add notation and audio.

@@MrFretman6 I think Davinci Resolve still has a free version and it has almost everything I can do with my paid copy. It's a small learning curve, but it's a lot of power for free.

It is 60fps 4k. That camera is freaking amazing. There is no editing on this one. The partly cloudy sky’s helped. Sometime’s, especially on sunny really bright days, I have to do a lot editing. Filters would help if I were not running in and out of the shade of trees. When riding like this it’s kind of difficult to manipulate filter changes 😂, no it’s impossible!

@@MrFretman6 I have the filters but my GoPro 6 can't come close to that.

You too...I like the way you're not afraid to lay it all out on the line with the singing live etc. I'm just not ready for anything like that. This is mainly what I want to do, just trips, aerials, scenery, etc.

No, but I plan to take it there maybe this fall. Honestly it's getting so that this road is so busy around the lake in the summer I actually don't enjoy going there very much.

Loads of Californians moving in here, hopefully the ones sick of the bullshit and taxes there.

Relic was the peak of my days. I had a great two years in cousin Tommy's band NewRiver also. I don't know which band I played out more with but NewRiver was playing from Raleigh to the outer banks so man did I travel with them. The one big thing we did with Relic was to play the Chesapeake Jubilee twice. The thing is I'm actually a far better player now than I was with NewRiver or Relic. I learned a lot with both but there were some really embarrassing moments getting to this level. Had we had a good male lead singer in the band I was with here we'd have been playing all the time if we wanted to. Thanks for the reply...I'll get to filming again when the weather gets a bit better and we travel away from the house. We don't fear the virus but dang it's just not worth doing much of anything because it ain't much of anything to do with people seemingly walking around in a state of shock.

@@MrFretman6 Chesapeake Jubilee was one of my first gigs. I had just signed on to do the wrestling matches at the Norfolk Arena. They bought me my first P.A. as a payment for entertaining before the matches and doing the Star Spangled Banner. I used that P.A. to start my career, and The Chesapeake Jubilee was my first gig. I don't think it paid anything, but it was the first year and it was held where the Greenbriar Mall is today. I played it again years later with the Harmony Brothers and we opened for George Jones...And Yes...He showed up!...LOL. I think you already know about the song I wrote by the same name. The city paid for that recording with the Harmony Brothers, bought 1,000 records, and left them at the Civic Center that weekend and never sold the first one...Life is Sooo Funny sometimes.

I freaking love this camera. I haven't had to do any editing and I don't think I will except for maybe stitching clips together.
