Do you use 91 premium? Trust me, it makes a huge difference. Also, it is governed at 143mph. If I accelerate in my 2012 TSX, my front tires will squeal and chirp until second gear on takeoff. I’ve noticed that 87 octane doesn’t have that same punch off the line, nor does it pull as hard to redline unless I use at least 91, but I usually just use Shell V-power nitro 93. Turns the TSX into a totally different animal. It takes a couple fill ups on 93 to notice the difference and allow the engine to adjust timing for the better octane.
