Guest Speaker Ep. 120: JORD4NEVERDIED | Turntable Teachers Podcast
On Episode 120 of the Guest Speaker Series, we close out the year with none other than JORD4NEVERDIED! Traditionally a producer for artists such as Vintage Lee, JORD4NEVERDIED has fully evolved into an artist who’s become a force as an R&B singer and songwriter. He recently released his full-length debut album ‘GOOD GIRLS ARE OVERRATED!’, an 11-track modern R&B masterpiece, which features Starchild Kayla, Alexandr., Jay Briss, & STEFAN THEV, with production by Sam Sully, STEVAN THEV, and more.
JORD4NEVERDIED talks about his experiences transitioning from being a producer to an artist, and shares numerous stories about the creation of ‘GOOD GIRLS ARE OVERRATED!’, including the insight behind its potentially controversial title.
JORD4NEVERDIED and Mike also discuss a variety of other topics, including the reveal of his old artist alias, the obsession of anime amongst hip-hop artists, the hilarious story of Jordan accidentally slapping someone at Vintage Lee’s “Grease Feast”, why Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is overrated, and Jayson Tatum will be seen as a better player all-time than Carmelo Anthony and Paul Pierce, and so much more.

Real Vipasana is at least 10 days. But every start Into that is good. 3 Days is already a very good start.
Best concert I've ever seen
Gibbs is oblivion mixed with Trigon straight omega level ⚛️🕳️☄️🥷🦾♠️ fkg black Frieza with bars🃏
Yesssss
2013 freddie came thru to a college campus outside of cleveland, muh fucka was partyin smokin blunts on stage, passin it back and forth with the crowd, then after the show this guy kicks it around the area slidin thru house parties, college kids had pics with em ridin around in the bed of a pickup truck gettin live all night, all kinds of shit
Keeping it a buck wit'cha...@freddie Gibbs and @killamike released THEE DOPEST HIP HOP ALBUMS OF 2024. I've always been aware a Freddy's skill set, but this recent release through and through remind me of 90s album releases where artists had minimal features, if that! And tracks noteworthy of replays. N***** better wake up!

Seem him 6 years ago in Cali LA and he reminded me of 2pac with his performance and energy 🔥🔥
MANS LAST 6 ALBUMS BEEN ALL FIRE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 “damn they done got diddy”
Seen him in Sydney Australia the dude breath control is insane he's a monster on stage
Freddie Gibbs’s a 🐐
G
Thank you. Great video. I glad you like Queen as much as I do.
Queen. They ALL are the best ever. And ever. We love queen
Seen freddie perform in atlanta. His performance was fire! Waiting for him to fly back for a second round.
Youre favorite rappers favorite rapper. He and Spitta.
Everybody be actin like tht boy Kane fell off… he just got colder is all.. 🫡 🐇…
Gibbs is criminally underrated, my favorite rapper for the past few years
Agree. Wonder why that is? He seems more genuine vs almost every other rapper.
@@mountainair he's literally too skilled for the mainstream and would have to dumb down his flows, lyrics and cadence to catch a wider audience. let's hope not.
Walk back on stage and what did he say? 😂😂😂 Slow down man
there's captions for you if you need them...
Seen freddie twice in minneapolis and both times it was amazing.
Listening to music backwards is a known satanic practice
Best in the game right now. From stage show to album making
My first time seeing him he was super faded and spit every bar. Was highly impressed
It’s the coke
Gibbs is dope
🤴
Mad as hell I didn't see him when he came out here in Buffalo during that Benny the Butcher drama Imma definitely make it to the next performance if he ever in Toronto,Rochester or even Pittsburgh area
Sounds like he was coked up.
You ain’t never did coke if you think this is what it does to you 😭 stay on the porch
His breath control is insane when he on stage seen em in Charlotte
NC Stand up!!! And as Always, MAD Respect to my bro Gibbs!!! Like that DUDE Madlib said, " he is NOT ONLY one of the best out there RIGHT NOW, BUT is one of the best EVER,!!!" We are honestly lucky as hell to even have an artist of his caliber in the state the world is in right now!!! And plus you get a Madlib 🔌🤙🏽
I was at the show, right before the Pandemic hit?
@@seanf9067 yea that's the one I think Benny the butcher opened for him but I missed his set n caught it when Gibbs was finna perform
Saw him 2 years ago brought my son it was his first concert Gibbs got chopped but he still went in
Gibbs has been the best rapper for a long time now. All of this J Cole Drake and Kendrick talk is blah. The real Top 3 is Freddie Gibbs, Benny The Butcher and Conway The Machine. And it ain’t close! 💯
Freddie is a better artist than Benny and Conway and I’m a huge fan of them too. His versatility and his ability to adapt to literally every kind of beat you can think of sets him apart from the rest of the pack. Respectfully Benny and Conway don’t have a Piñata / Bandana / Alfredo level project in their discography. Plus I’m still salty Alfredo didn’t win that damn Grammy, I love Nas but Freddie’s project was objectively better than his and everybody knows it was.
kane train
Kane Train
Saw him in Vegas and he was fucked up and he got the whole crowd chanting fuck akademics 🤣
all my homies hate dj akademics
He did the same thing in Kentucky when I saw him 😂
I was at that festival too. Made me a giant Freddie fan, I had barely heard anything before that set. Mf is a DAWG
Same here in LA but fuck the police lol
I don’t know anything about said show, but yeah, fsck Ak! Ain’ no DJ, jus’ an OVO D. rider!
Super GOAT You Only Live 1nce out tonight!!!!!
Another great album. Wolverine my shit
❤no backing tracks.....Freddie got bars and stamina
