Awesome picking! Blind Willie lived for part of his life in Statesboro, GA. Performed around town and the old Jekyl Hotel. A statue of him with guitar graces the visitor’s center, not to mention the Blind Willie McTell trail. Quite a blues influencer. The band Kill It Kid seemed very heavily influenced by him especially in their song Send Me an Angel Down since he wrote one by almost the same name. Your rendition was excellent. 8-2024

Awesome stuff man, how do you figure this out?
@@cristoroxx thank you! First figure out the chords and then how to put the melody over it in a ways that’s playable. Also, listen to Clarence’s piano lines to see what to lift. I love taking non-guitar tunes and working up an arrangement, fun stuff!!

I bet that was a chunk of change. Ive got two handmade Stella copies ones a Hauver and the other is a Goodman. Im trying to decide if a Fraulini is worth the extra $. How does it compare to the original Stella you had?
Hi Jerry - Honestly I think Todd's guitars are very reasonably priced when you buy direct from him. They seem to get super expensive when being sold second hand - people know Todd only builds a few so jack their prices up. The Geremia Fraulini vs. the Stellar is a hard comparison since the Geremia is the huge guiatar and my Stellar was the smaller grand Concert size. That side, I have a Fraulini Angelia which is the Grand Concert size and I think its a far superior guitar. The Geremia to me to the Daddy of twelve strings, the sound is huge and unique. String spacing is wider and the neck longer - I absolutely love it. I believe Todd is selling a second hand Blind Willie model he built for a customer so might be worth reaching out to see how much it's selling for. Good luck and honestly, yes - they're definitely worth the $$$! Best, Matt
@@mattwiffenmusic You must be a huge Todd Albright fan as well. Time to pass the torch and call that guitar the Todd Albright model 😀
I admire Todd’s playing greatly and he’s a super nice guy when you meet him also
If you don't mind me bugging you, what strings do you use on the Geremia?

lovely looking and sounding guitar, how are you finding the Geremia model compared to the Angelina ?
Hi Jamie - I love them both, but the Geremia is a whole different level in sound. It’s a huge guitar and really grunts. I’ve found it sounds better played without picks so you gotta build up some serious callouses, but it’s definitely worth it. In short, I love the Geremia!
Hi Matt thanks for the reply I am hoping to be ordering a 12 string soon so I appreciate your thoughts. I have been looking at the Geremia vs Francesca. Also tail piece vs bridge pin. why did you opt for the Geremia over the Francesca, did you do much comparison . Did you customize your guitar or did you leave it to fraulini to just build a Geremia . The todd Albright Geremia has an outstanding sound like yours@@mattwiffenmusic
I have the Angelina Gran Concert (Smaller) and the Geremia (Bigger). I love them both and they've got their own characteristics. The Angelina sounds big and it's compact, but the Geremia sounds huge and has a longer scale and I believe slightly wider string spacing. Both are easy instruments to play, but if I could only own one I'd go for the Geremia. Mine is totally standard, though you could choose different woods. Mine is a mahogany back and sides. The Angelina is maple back and side. I like the tailpiece, I think it's cool looking and you can rake the strings behind it for a percussive effect here and there. Whichever you chose I know you'll love. I'm a big Fraulini fan and Todd Cambio is a super nice guy and well as master luthier. @@jamieisles7695
