I haven't been able to understand the gulfs until now. I have just watched 1 minute and 34 seconds of the video, and I have captured the whole concept. Thanks very much Leah Greis. We need more contents like this. It really helps a lot.
FYI Signifiers is spelled wrong in the title.

Thanks a lot!
Why didn't they just call it the gulf of discoverability and the gulf of feedback? Lol
LOL
Because discoverability and feedback aren't "gulfs", they're the mechanisms that help users to _cross_ the gulfs. Good *discoverability* helps users cross the gulf of *execution* ("What can I do now? How do I do it? Ah, this icon helped me _discover_ the answer."). Whereas good *feedback* helps users cross the gulf of *evaluation* ("What just happened? Did I accomplish my goal? Ah, this status report with a few key results helped me _evaluate_ whether I did or not."
It's got mistery, it's got comedy, it's interesting, it's got everything. Loved it.
Great!
Why there are no more videos...?? We want more of them... These are perfect explainations.
this is really helpful ......................respect from Sudan
