"The press" thing actually makes sense to me. If they'd just flooded several villages unprovoked, that would look pretty bad and would harm the optics of the country for trying to industrialize and develop. But if they send mercenaries in to attack the rebels, eliminate them, and then build the dam afterwards, they can just say the villages had to be evacuated because they were "terrorist strongholds" which needed to be pacified. I presume the goal of the mercenaries, beyond killing the rebels, is also to ethnically cleanse the villagers themselves from the region so that there are no longer obstacles to the dam project.

So I think both Spoony and Madlib are the only people on earth to contain this film. Spoony with reviewing this and Madlib sampling the music and dialogue of the film.

People say Dumb & Dumber To was horrible, but have the balls to defend this travesty? Honestly, D&DT wasn't that bad, but it wasn't very good, either. BB2K was probably a lot worse because it was an insult to a dead celebrity who was part of the original. At least all major actors from D&D were still alive, 20 years later when the sequel came out. I will say this; at least D&DT wasn't as bad as other belated sequels like Joe Dirt 2, which just shamelessly ripped off both It's A Wonderful Life and Back To The Future.

Obscurus Lupa did at one time look like a person and even had a sense of humor, the years have not been kind though but this video despite it's flaws is a time capsule of the internet before it got wrapped up in sjw/woke social media garbage. Heck even Linkara is funny in this one, granted he would never make the joke at 2:28 today but at one time even Linkara had a sense of humor. What makes it so ironic for me is that I saw this as a kid not knowing it was a sequel to anything. And I was too young and too stupid to realize it via all the exposition. And I actually loved it: the "flying monkeys" were my favorite part and the "got a light?" joke had me rolling on the floor - literally. Oh, the innocence of my stupid childhood.
