This is one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. Salute to you and RIP Sean Price. He will always be one of the main influences on my life. His music has gotten me through some of my darkest days.
Thanks for the kind words. riP! Sean was the man
@OscarOffTheCuff Agreed. You did the best documentary on Sean Price that I've seen that came after his death. Keep giving people this work! Giving everything that is going on with Lil Durk right now I think you should do a documentary on Lil Durk's life. I also think you need to do a documentary on Duck Down records based on how Buck Shot and Dru Ha created the record label and the artist they put out, and a good Conway the Machine documentary based on his life. I haven't seen anyone do a Flee Lord documentary either. Just some food for thought. Peace!
How did I miss this drop dead gorgeous woman on MTV back in the day
Your so rite i love all music im 50 an love smooth operator like everyone an didn't even know how sang itor wat she looked like.
I think this tribute to her was informative, well thought out. Your love for her is really something a musician could hope for, a fan who gets her. I really hope this video gets to her, she would appreciate it. Keep up your work😊
Thank you for the kind words!!!! I hope she one day sees the video as well
Rest well Reggae Emperor 💚💛♥️PT
Love Sean price 💯
Diamond D is also in D.i.T.C.
@@cwrichardson3 that is a true statement
I think you are reading this but your channel is called Oscar off the cuff
@@cwrichardson3 off the cuff when I talk to the camera. My channel isn’t just reading a Wikipedia bio like other people do.
The BARBARIAN P!
Not only a great rapper but a funny guy and a great... no, a HUGE personality. (The bit with his daughter on stage is so good, she will keep this memory for ever...
Yep that clip is a classic. And I saw your original comment, yes Nocturnal is my favorite rap album ever. 😂 Thanks for watching bro
You’ve gotta cover frank ocean if you haven’t already 🙏🏽
Haven’t covered him yet. Possibly in the future though. Thanks for watching!
@@OscarOffTheCuff he’s a once in a lifetime artist too - great documentary on Sade too 👏🏽
I saw him in 2012 right when Odd Future was about to blow up. He was dope! Thanks man, appreciate the kind words.
That was part of the greatness of Sean Price. That man could rap for as long as you could listen, and you'd be hung up on every bar. I listened to P at work one 12 hr day, all day. I was wiped out just following him. R.I.P. Sean Price. Honestly, my favorite rapper.
So far this documentary video is one of the best. 🫡
Thanks for watching it!
She's different ❤
Respect Bro!!!! 😊
Thank you sir
On the part your talking about new artists gotta check out Cleo Soul if you haven’t. The music is there is just the marketing poles have shifted
I’ve heard the name. I’ll check her out
@@OscarOffTheCuff the album from hers that drew me in is “mother” favorite songs being “don’t let it go to your head” and “music” but I actually listened to her band SAULT before listening to her. Super interesting to deep dive. I recommend “5” “rise” and “11”! And check out krhuangbin if you never have, they’re one of the most talented bands today!! Has one of our best modern guitarists ever
Beautifully said, Oscar. Heartwarming. Real, Caring.
Thank you for the kind words.
I will never forget the moment when I found out , talk about twilight zone, I was actually listening to zeds dead, I was reading posts about Sean, then all the sudden, text from his wife, & this is like 3 am west coast time, so I was listening to him when he passed, I could barely think, 😢I was just sad in a way that I still can’t shake. I found out about him really late in his career, like 2015, & I thought , “ how did I not know about him?”…the greatest
Nice work, well researched.
Thank you 🤘
He was my step pops this was a good small documentary 🙏🏾
That’s crazy! Thanks for watching
Love Sade and the group always solid. My favorite tune is Is it a Crime very Classy,Dynamic sound and a sequel to The Sweetest Taboo. Together the Best. Bunny Wailer reminds me of Sade how they handled their Mello Musical careers. Thank you for the Documentary.
Is It a Crime is a classic! That’s a good comparison, Bunny and Sade were both similar in that they handled their careers gracefully. I just made a video on Bunny Wailers band mate Peter Tosh.
Having lived the 80s, Sade was a breathe of fresh air.
"P"
Thank you for making this video! ❤️👏
Thanks for watching 🤘
Peter Tosh the real revolutionary. Sick doc. Wish there were more artists that kept this era alive. Don Carlos is the last one I can think of but he's up there in age
Yes he was I saw Don Carlos with Slightly Stoopid years back. Great show Thanks for watching
RIP Perer Tosh
Yessir.
Found him on accident and am still trying to figure out how I was up drunk and high and found my favorite person ever in the game, rest in peace Sean, you were the shit !, realest
Hey Oscar what would be your first 3 question's you would ask her? Maybe if your answer is interesting enough you just might entice that alluring Goddess out of her hive
Shooot I don’t think I’d comment them on here. Someone might take my ideas 😂 Thanks for watching
Rest in peace Sean P I remember I used to bump that song that came out in Grand Theft Auto with Aguilar
I appreciate this video. So i subscribed 💯
@@rocdawgdadondiggy thanks dude means a lot
Yeah I was shocked when Sean P was gone.
Sade was like the sister that I thought I didn't have growing up. Being a bi racial person. Her music enhanced my life..and every girlfriend that I had knew of her😂
This was great brother, thank you! May your channel grow and allow you to keep making these.
Thanks for watching mane. I plan on making many more docs!
Di Paul is lords brother not uncle but good shhh💯
Amazing. Very tastefully done. Thank You.
Thank you!
I love heltah skeltah but for me D.I.R.T is their best work. One of my favourite joints of all time. Ofcourse nothing they ever did was less than great but to me that one just scratched an itch. R.i.P 🙏 im 27 so maybe thats why, theyre lyrically firing as heavy as ever and the production aligns with some of my favourite styles
This is one of my favourite videos on TH-cam. I love the way you share your passion for Sade with us. Thank you so much for making it.
Thank you for watching!
Sometimes I'm guilty of judging a book by its cover, and 99 out of 100 times I wouldn't be caught dead watching some random TH-camr, but you happened to do a vid about Sean P. You knocked this out the f'n park. I really watched your video from start to finish and enjoyed every minute. Salute on making a great tribute video to Sean Nice the Top Five Dead or Alive, two of 'em dead soon as the other three die I'm #1! Megatron Shawn lives on💪
Thank you homie! Appreciate you taking the time to watch the whole thing! riP!
Sade music 🎶 🎷 saxophone I love ❤️ kind of music she’s extra ordinary
Sade she’s the most beautiful female and the greatest female singer her music is fantastic for any female artist
Fabulous piece on the most unique; charismatic and all around renaissance artists ever and the most authentic soul as well: Thank you for the exquisite job and your sensitivity and charm!! Fourteen years w/o a release is very sad especially since Sting saw her in Paris working on a new album two years ago along with others. Anyway we love her and I thank you again❤️🙏🤝
Hopefully an album comes soon! Thank you for the kind words.
I absolutely hate Social media,I was on Facebook, instagram, but had to come off both because it was depressing me,the World has just gone Bonkers,I rarely listen to the radio and I don’t watch much T.V and I feel better for it I try and walk every day ,talk to my Cats, gardening,I like being on my own some of the time.Lose yourself in you, sometimes, get away within your Mind ,find peace and joy just floating away into a Realm of Calm ,the one thing in Life that is a Constant is Music, real Music , not a lot of the Rubbish the Mainstream Radio’s play. You can lose yourself in Music that you love it takes you away to a wonderful place 💜🌱
shes the greatest
Ooh
A perfect documentary, respect, with so much love, many thanks for that
Shes such an amazing role model.
No doubt
Such a great documentary of one of my favorite artists of all time. Sade just exudes elegance, maturity and soul in a way most artists today fail to do. She's truly unique.
The most unique! Thanks for watching
I like P's solo projects better than Heltah Skeltah projects
I love Sade 🥰 miss the 90s.. ❤
Same here!
