This is an excellent message. Thank you! It’s interesting that I have felt that urgency this year, and it’s not because I’ve been diagnosed with a terminal disease. It’s a feeling and my place in this world. My word for this year has been tranquility. I wonder how the 2 correspond….maybe an urgent need to have tranquility in all areas of my life. Wouldn’t that be nice?

Totally agree. As Christian content creators, we need to be both receiving from God, and sharing Him. But if we're only looking to Him for what we can pass on to others as content, then we're left sitting with empty hands. God has more than enough to provide both for our hearts and for us to share. Not everything we receive is for someone else.

I struggle with the whole social media. I have a TH-cam channel as well as other platforms and I feel like it is easy to become a slave to them because of the pressure of the algorithms. This concerns me because all this social media and algorithms are worldly and so I really need to pray and ask the Lord’s guidance because I would rather follow Him than that of the world.

Loved this video but can’t find the Mysteries of Messiah with an author of Jonathon Conn. Could you write the name of the book and author. I could only find one with that name by a Rabbi.

About six months ago, i felt led by God to begin a weekly discipline of fasting. What i was seeking was the ability to be more in step with the Holy Spirit guiding me, and less in bondage to the demands of my flesh; to teach my flesh to submit the the Spirit. I'm still a work in progress, but i do see progress. It was the beginning of a deeper understanding that our spiritual growth doesn't focus only on our heart and mind, but on our bodies too... Because actually serving God, actually being the body of Christ in this world is something we DO with our bodies.

Words that all need to hear. Sadly, many churches use the “pick and choose gospel “. Only use those scriptures that tell the listeners what they want to hear.

Thank you for sharing. I am excited to look up some of the things you shared. I have been doing a year since 2004. This past year my word was HOPE. I have never needed this so much in my life because there were a lot of things that could have made me feel or left me hopeless feeling. But I KNOW He is my hope.
