Experimental Short Film (Fujifilm X-T4)
มุมมอง 798 หลายเดือนก่อน
I wasn’t exactly sure what my goal was with this project when I went and started shooting. I just knew that I wanted to shoot something in B&W, create video over a song, and practice cinematic shots. Later while editing this, I realized that I wanted to understand more about visual (and audio) interest. In other words, what makes shots cool so that you want to keep looking at them? I will defin...
My first short film (kind of...)
มุมมอง 2658 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video I wanted to learn more about videography so I recreated a short film. It was honestly so much harder and took a lot longer than I previously anticipated. Nonetheless, it was awesome because I definitely learned a ton. I might make a video in the future about the specific things I learned. I was using the Fujifilm X-T4 for video and the Rode Wireless Go 2 for audio. Everything was ...

great video, here is a quick suggestion Felipe: maybe let the expert talk non stop for at least 1 or 2 minutes without interrupting or interjecting what you think she is trying to say for a smoother interaction. Just my 2 cents
Hi, can mechanical engineering majors also apply? Because there wasn’t an option to select it as a major on the application page even though it says students pursuing computer, software, electrical and mechanical engineering degrees and other related majors on their home page.
no
broooo Carnegie is cool too so BRAVO !!!
The real reason you got rejected is becuase you use onshape hehehe
I think the scholarship app has changed a bit for this year, as they didn't;t ask for any test scores and there isn't any space to list what you did in your extracurriculars/work experience.
NO WAY I STUMBLED UPON A 1678 ALUM VIDEO 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Medgami is a game changer. Try to gain investments for it.
How were you doing this when i was watching shinchan 😢😮
mit is overrated anyway :(
i know a physics olympiad silver medalist who turned down MIT for carnegie mellon. you’re in great company
Wooow holyyy shit, im not iPhO medalist, but i went to the one of all the spanish speaking countries (i'm mexican) and i gotta say that receiving an silver medal on IPhO would be such a win for our country, literally impossible in our community, that person rlly is the GOAT ngl.
For anyone watching, imo the reason they didn't get in is because the idea/ concept exists + doesn't seem genuine for a high school student to care about/ want to do this
cute
Hello! Cheers to taking this book on. I want to address your critique on the search for the mother. I'm not sure this is something you could understand not being a woman who's lost their mother in early years. Anecdotally (she presents it as Pat's writing anecdotally as well) my mother was mentally unstable and left the home when I was 13. This loss was profoundly impactful on the individual I have become despite telling myself for years that she did not define me. That wound of not having a nurturing figure was fundamental and I, at 30, am still looking for the missing pieces. To further discuss your critique that she defines gender as being all encompassing; The divine feminine and the divine masculine are not gender bound. Each and everyone of us can look to both energies within ourself to find balance. It's in that balance that we become full. This book is about divine feminine, not All women are and all they can be. Anyway, a little strange to start the way you did and then end the critique by saying the section devoted to different womens lived experiences was ... extraneous and needlessly lengthening the book is nearly exactly the critique that men don't give space to women to be seen and validated in their feelings. They are denied existence for the sake of efficiency.
"because i live life on edge" you are chill as hell bro i fw u heavy
Why did this guy get rejected? It's absurd.
bro called us dumb for two minutes straight
What'd you end up majoring in?
@@imraan2730 mechanical engineering !
Maybe they that dude would drop out for sure 😂can’t believe this was rejected! Brilliant ideas
W video
You got rejected because you're too white :D Not DiVeRsE enough ;d
Big brain
Start your own company they dont need you
Why rejected
That first project looked sick
I wonder why you got rejected? It’s just a brilliant as the other students that got accepted.
nice to see your creations, no wonder you rejected mit. they didn't deserve you fr
The problem people don’t understand with technology is that 100% reliability is a must and the point between 95% and a 100 is more than the entire project and would take possibly decades
iceee
you soo oSEXY brooo
MIT's loss
Bro congrats honestly. How do these guys learn these things? I know most of it is curiosity and trial-and-error but like when I was in high school I had no one same minded as me or If I wanted to apply to events and projects none of my teachers knew anything
When I was in high school I was dumping thousands of hours in overwatch , lol fuck me getting to masters wasn't worth it 🙃
why do u need people same minded
i have 0 friends and haven’t done anything on this level but ucsont need same minded friends to be productive and passionate about your interests
@@IsaiahsAnythingShowdont worry brother most people do that, these maker profolio vids are the top of the top at even mit
@@baconheadhair6938 now i know a little better :)
This is the guy who ticks "Hispanic" origin.
XD
This is very impressive! Great video.
Overqualified for MIT
my team copied that intake pivot this year and it worked so well. no idea what I would've done without that design
Have you tried being a non-white male?
Wow, impressive!
loved this
Great work.
Great work bro, you'll do great ahead!
Bro just start making videos like "stuff made here" and "i did a thing" you have a nice voice and editing
You'll do well irrespective of these rejections. No I am not saying some bs like "rejections make you stronger"!! At the end of the day the people who see you need to see YOU and not the porjects and SAT scores. They need to see you THROUGH your projects. AND THEY MISSED BIG TIME.
You're too white😂
Lockheed will happily have you 😉
if this guy is rejected, then im cooked
I do have a question, where can someone learn mechanical design s like he did
Awesome work!!
I know what was wrong in your portfolio, you werent a woman or black enough
i would say the lack of biological perspective on your medgami project might have become a no. and your first project was used in a competition
Bro MIT lost a good and hardworking person
