Mazzilli called it a 'Royer ZVS' and that was around 2008-2009, while Royer's patent dating back to 1954 no longer applies, which explains the flooding from developing countries...
This ZVS Royer design proved broken since Mazzilli in 2008-2009. Good luck fixing it!
The last thing anyone needs is HUMIDITY build up, in their shop!!!!!!
Nice video.its all about learning new things and having fun in the process😃
Interesting. I wonder what their actual purpose is. I wonder if these are simply individual kernels of "powder" from naval "big guns" . where they have 50 pound sacks (they use several bags per charge) behind those monster 12 & 16" guns. because they burn just like regular smokeless powder.
🙏💙🇨🇦🌎😎🏁
That's a good idea using that principle to hear the shop. Your on to something. Keep it up and dont give up
The handheld "taser" looking ones from China are way better (usually rated 1100W). They're expensive over $100 but put out way more power than those fake "1000W" simple boards. The circuit is much more complex to make a powerful heater which is why they cost so much. Do note that none of those heaters have a high duty cycle. You use them a bit then they need to cool down longer.
I made one but used high temp gasket RTV to seal the wires. I also connected the ground to make it safer. Only use this on a GFCI outlet to make it safe in case it shorts out.
I think you have potential to make great videos - I subscribed Induction heaters are fun to play with, I have a few myself.
The size of the part you’re wanting to heat definitly matters of which is in the magnetic field
I'm no expert on this so take this observation with a grain of salt. Anyway, from watching other videos, it was my understanding that, like a magnet, the distance between the object being heated and the inductive heater is very important. So, if the objects were bigger and more closely matched to the coil, the heating would be greatly maximized. btw, I like the DIY aspect of this video. As I previously mentioned - I could be wrong. But hey, that's more content for you to generate - disproving that theory. Everything you do here will be, in and of itself, a content generator - keep doing it!
It's so good to see natural videos
exactly. just like the infancy of TH-cam
Yeah im out anyone that sprays water on a engine obviously has no clue
I've seen commercial fan boosters also try to be temperature-based. Wouldn't be it better/simpler to have one that's flow based? That is, if there's some flow from the duct, turn on the fan; then turn off the fan when the central blower stops?
that would be great if we could find a simple air flow sensor to turn fan on/off .the other would be running a wire to the thermostat fan relay .
The tool is to adjust the carburetor
