Jos, almost as usual the PA soundmix in Melkweg was very bad, i was at this gig and the one in OLT Rivierenhof in Deurne yesterday and suddenly it appeared that the girl can sing. So being from Rotterdam myself i can say this is really an Amsterdam thing ;) as i honestly can't recall ever being at a Melkweg gig with proper soundquality....
It was also their first concert from the world tour.....it has to grow....but after all, I enjoyed't very much !!!!
Sorry Jos, but this tour is already running since April 2018 in the US. 'Amsterdam' was the 1st out of only 5 European dates for this 'Choice Cuts Tour'. For that matter i just stick with 'the usual soundproblems of/in De Melkweg' being the problem why 'this girl can't sing' in Amsterdam ;)
It was my first time at the Melkweg, I liked the concert very much, but I'm afraid you're right.....there was a soundproblem, also the heat was a problem.....the guitars had to be tuned continuously.....but the music was fantastic....I thought it was their try out :-)
