I just purchased the FLEX PXE 80 last week + 3 extra batteries and the cost in the USA was around $712.00 USD. I used the FLEX for an hour and all it did was deliver "Pad Stall" on speed 4 (top speed). I used Griot's Garage 3" orange foam correcting pads and an ample (a lot,,, kept adding more to prevent pad stall, but didn't seem to matter) supply of quality polishing liquid. That was my only issue. Battery life was great, battery charger was awesome and did display time remaining until fully charged. I was just so disappointed was the pad stall issue, I just had to send it back. What a bummer. I didn't expect pad-stall without any downward pressure applied from the FLEX PXE or at that price? Sunday I also ordered a Griot's Garage cordless mini polisher to see if it has any pad stall in my search for a decent cordless mini polisher. This morning, I did order a Batoca S4, so it was great to hear the accessories will fit. I did watch another review this morning and that detailer stated he got around 40-50 minutes runtime out of 1 battery. Did you get about the same runtime results? I see what you meant about the white one for gloss etc. What products did you use there? Liquid wax i guess ? I did try mine using the dodo hard wax i had

No difference in noise or vibration? I’d expect the flex to be a more balanced and refined machine for the money. Also I assume the batteries are different fit?

That apprentice was an ugly bugger 😉. He must have had a big paper round to look so old as an apprentice. The fact you mentioned the weight of the unit was interesting if you are getting on, like the apprentice, you may find that an issue to put away if like me it's kept off the floor
