Yes to Trapeze. I thought these lost tapes were excellent. The music rises above the recording quality. Some of the recordings sound great. Cutting edge yet classic. Love the funk!

Nice review! If you want to listen to more Opeth but do not enjoy the death metal growls or style, then from their album 'Heritage' onwards is for you. There is no death metal or growls from Heritage until this new release. Everything before 'Heritage' is death metal EXCEPT the album 'Damnation' which is fully clean vocals and acoustic and mellow. Damnation is an incredible album. Theres 14 albums now so enjoy! 😂

How about a mention for Pete Wright I actually played on more than Glenn . And of course, Rob Kendrick. . Good job reviewing thanks for doing it.

Tiny fingers is inspired by Mark's son Jesse. Jesse suffered an accident in 2010 that left him a quadriplegic. He passed away in 2018 after many health issues. Mark wanted to re-record I'm Your Captain/Closer to Home for 2 reasons. As you stated he performs and records in 432 hz as he finds it a more natural and soothing frequency. Second this is the 55th Anniversary of IYC/CTH so he wanted to record it again for that reason. Thanks for the album review. It's a good album and I hope he has success with it . 🙏👍

It's not "Queen 1" it's just Queen

Oh get a grip its an amazing sparkling new total remix I'm a massive queen fan seen em in 84 twice and once on the majic tour I know purists don't like ruining the original but it's a kind of majic I don't think I'd like Queen 11 spruced up though and I don't see that ever happening with Queens 1st 5 albums

It's appalling, over-done and wrong choices made throughout.

I love it. The vinyl kicks arse on my system. Can’t wait for Queen II.

Jesus and Seven Seas Of Rhye are least successfull to me: some rhythmic problems just became obvious. But all the rest tracks are wonderful. Mad The Swine sounds appropriate after Great King Rat, but it’s strange to hear My Fairy King right after it.

It’s a very clean and clear mix. It’s interesting but the bass is lacking oomph on some tracks. The drums are very powerful here as if re-recorded but they’re not. This new mix lacks the charm and homeliness of the original but it’s nice to have. There’s a lot of detail in the new mix. I bought the deluxe box so I’ve the lot! Mad The Swine is a weak track and definitely B side material. I used to think Jesus was weak but they really brought that to life here. I like the precision of the new mix and it’s nice to see classic Queen under the spotlight.

David actually had two solo albums in the '70s. White Snake and Northwinds. One is from 1977, and one from 1978. Into The Light was his third solo album.

Got into Tom Petty when I was a kid with Traveling Wilburys Vol 1 and Full Moon Fever just came out and I got it as a kid. Went back and listened to the early albums and this always stood out as a favorite. Always felt it was under appreciated even by Petty fans

Am an Audiophile have been to 6 rocky mountain audiofest and have an Awesome bang for the buck audio system i personally have no problems with how this recording sounds. Just awesome how Phil put this together. You don't mention the lyrics they are some of his best. I do compared it lyric wise to 2 UFO albums Sharks and You are here. This album sounds fresh and guitar playing is crisp and kind of rephreshing compared to past superstar players from UFO. Neil Carter stepping out to play some lead and adding some flute a former julliard graduate well done indeed.

Over 60 years of great music and this album shows that he has no signs of Slowing down. Pompus Fool, Heart of a child, and This has got to stop are absolute stand outs for me, but this album is a must listen.

Nice wrap-up and good comments re the processing and whatnot enjoyed this. Not sure is as strong as their last Saints & Sinners (and let's be honest, those heyday albums rather untouchable ;) but this is yet another cool addition to their catalogue and we need celebrate the fact we're still getting good music from some of these old-schoolers. Personal highlights this time around... Cry Of The Wicked, State Of Emergency and Castles High \m/

Good review, Smile is a very old song written by Charlie Chaplin Eric used to open his gigs with it in the 1970s It’s great to see him still playing & recording at 79 ! Xxx Blues Leave Me Alone

Cancelled is surprisingly melodic and heavy. It’s by far the best song on the EP. Dogs of War is okay and I’m not really a fan of the cover. Beastie Boys’ original is awesome, but it’s not something to be covered. As far as Vince’s live vocals, he has dialed it back to kinda where he’s putting forth little effort. Almost like trying to conserve his voice. It’s a bit better than 2015, but not day and night better. I do like Cancelled. It’s heavy. Vocals sound like Vince. I like that track.

Cancelled is easily one of Motley Crues best Songs EVER!!!!

Doctor Eddie Ganja Here I first Discovered UFO in 1974 I saw them in Don Kirshnwrs Rock Concert I was blown away love all The albums from the members Waysted Mogg and Way albums I have seen them live 5 times first time 1978 Obsession love Phil Moggs voice no one could replace Phil love this album it rocks but yes Phil has unique voice Keep Rocking

no doubt the Bach albums were great BUT i think Gronwall is their best singer and owned it people who didnt give their last album a chance have no idea what they are missing its killer my live in london should arrive this weekend cant wait

Your review is spot on i gave it a listen and that's about it. I probably would of liked it more if he invited Phil Mogg to do a couple of songs or a couple of new songs. Matter of fact I like Moggs Motel better.

His UFO years are legendary. I remember listening to those albums time and time again during my teens. The riffmeister supreme, and what a soloist. PS still think Phil Mogg's vocals were special too ...
