This was one of my favorite episodes, but I never understood why they didn't just dig the ship out. The ships did exactly that in the 1953 film, digging themselves out of the meteor crater. The whole attaching the death ray to the hearse got kind of cheesy.

They get handed them with a Lime in the drink. Aaaarrrgghhhh!!! That must be like drinking Battery Acid!!!! GROSS!! Tonic water is the most vile stuff, and I hate Lime. Plus Vodka is NOTHING!! Blah!!! Bloody British!! I can't comment on the other platform.
