The curls should’ve been a mix of brown and color 27 so it won’t look to over powering and the braids just have to loosen a little

If you don’t like it cut out the curl hair and re dip it in hot water. You can also recurl the ends , and just crochet in another curl hair color .

You probably should’ve done all black with just a little color in the front on one side or with black and colored free strands out on one side or just underneath some of the top braids in areas that frame the face. Or just got the same color all over . It was not the braids it was the color choice but it looked okay.

It's the color contrast if you are going to mix colors you have to blend them but the dark braids with the curl streaks aren't flattering. next mix the curls with the brown so it isn't as harsh or buy a pre blend

Trust me.. only 3 times ever having braids and after the 1st time I absolutely hated it. What I learned is that box braids are too much hair and time for me. I love 2-4 butterfly braids and it does take long. That color on you is amazing. When I first got that color on my silk wrap, no regrets. I became addicted to color. I think and hope you just needed time to get use to it❤❤
