Hi. I don,t use what you call 'Colour stop' for exactly the reasons you you showed. It pulls away some of the paint no matter what you do to stop it. I find that Blue Tac is better and it comes of easier. I model in the same scale as you and I have built this kit. I added the empty shell case hatch and the smoke dischargers as well. I did mine in an overall sand colour. I use rattles cans where I can for speed and then brush paint everything else. The wheel in particular , its easier to paint the tyres off of the vehicle first. I have a few of these Panthers and I think that they are good kits with plenty of potential for detailing. I was lucky with mine , I put it in a show and won a gold medal with it. I hope that yours turns out good to. Good video. Many regards.
