Ray Charles - Ellie My Love (with lydric)
In 1989,Ray Charles recorded a cover version of the Japanese band Southern All Stars' song "Itoshi no Ellie" as "Ellie My Love" for a Suntory TV advertisement and turn out become a hit.

サントリーからCMで日本のカバーをラブソングを歌って欲しいとの依頼があり、当初はなぜこちらが日本の曲をカバーするのだ？とレイ・チャールズ再度から声はあがったが、最終的に5曲ある中からこの1曲をレイ・チャールズ自ら選んだ。それがいとしのエリーでした。桑田佳祐さんはそのCMでナレーションを担当していました。♪

this is a greatest hits of Southern All Star and written by Japanese Singer song writer Mr. Keisuke Kuwata vocalist of Southern All Star who has recovered from cancer recently. I don't know how it process but all I know this lyrics is translation of Itoshi no Elly of Southern All Stars Japan
