What’s pissing me off for Challenge 10 not only does it not make the move. But also cause it takes so long . I put it on a timer. The timer is rigged as fucked. The timer wants to pause here and there for the computer. And if it runs out of time IT TAKES your time away.

9 is definitely not the best for farming

I've finished Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami 1 and 2, and now i'm trying to finish Yakuza 3 Remastered. I'm like...half into the game, i think, using your guides, and oh boy... it gets kind of tiresome. I have all the games on PC, except for the last one (waiting for a better price, lol), and i love the franchise, so i'm really frustrated trying to keep playing them all. lol Any tips, beyond your incredible guides, CyricZ?

I finally finished Mahjong in Kiwami 2. What helped me alot was to always Check the Discard area and See If the melds you are going for are still Possible. Also to Press square after every Turn to Check If you can declare riichi. Without Checking this Video i wouldve never known. Also when another Player declares Riichi,forget your Hand and Focus on their discards and Always Discard Tiles that He also discarded so the chances of him declaring Ron or Tsumo on you are less and you can Hope for a Draw to save Points. I saved my Peerless Tiles for the Cups. But I beat the Sotenbori Cup First try without IT. Also you need a bit of Patience and be aware that you wont Finish Mahjong in 10 minutes 😂 Thank you for the Video much appreciated 😊

Hot take: I kinda like how brutal the Shimano fight is. It feels like it harkens back to the SNES-PS1 era where there would randomly be a superhard boss relatively early in the game. The boss was purposefully designed as an ability check. If you can beat this boss, you’ve demonstrated a mastery of the fundamentals that will enable you to make your way through the rest of the game without issue. And I can say it feels that way because this is what happened to me. Kiwami 1 was my first Yakuza game. And Shimano really just seemed like this brick wall. But I kept at it. I got over the gamer guilt of using items in the middle of a fight or using consumable items at all. I forced myself to experiment with the different styles instead of coasting on Rush, which I’d been doing up to that point. I grew and I learned, and I kicked that brick wall’s ass. And it felt good.

I know this is like a million years late, but I can not resist commenting that you could have ended the round in tenpai by discarding P3 at the 12:00 minute mark and you would have gotten 1500 points. Love your guides by the way CyricZ! They're a godsend!

It is an understatement to say that you are a key reason for Yakuza's success as a franchise in the west. So many minigames, challenges and boss battles I only made through because of your writings. Outside of fan games, I can't think of any fan whose had such an impact on a franchise.

I finally caught up to the new release and it feels so out of place without your guides. Thanks for guiding us through the games all these years.
