How do i overboost ?

I can’t speak for the older games, but AC6 is so good that I’m going to go back and find out.

AC6 reveal was probably the best thing that ever happened to the community and the hype that followed it. Ravens and Lynxs interacting with each other, all of the theory crafting, and the community tournaments we hosted in preparation for 6. Man that was something astounding to be apart of…I myself got into the series a bit late. I started out playing the demo of AC4 then later bought AC4A played that then went to the older games. Which my first stop was 2. The differences were jarring at first but I got used to it eventually. And then I learned to enjoy the game by build crafting. Now after playing AC6 and I’m currently half way finishing NG+ AC6 has accomplished something I think V and verdict day was trying so hard to accomplish…finding a balance between the first 3 generations and 4. Unfortunately V is not highly regarded among the 4 gen and lower but it did connect us to more people. Back on topic AC6 did indeed took mechanics from each generations but only the positives while also adding new stuff. The Quick boosts from AC4 make a return but not as spamming as the original, the overall design and aesthetic reminds me more of the old gen while still establishing their own idenity, there is multiplayer but is very bare bones. But being able to share designs and ACs is a welcome addition. Overall I say this generation has the most people from new and old and there’s still more to come. Hopefully a better multiplayer with co-op missions and 6v6 PvP battles.

I was super lucky and I had 3 cousins and another friend who played AC1 - AC2:AA, and we played ALL the time. I played AC3 and some of each game after, but I hated everything since AC3 until AC6. AC6 is so good. Not perfect. But so so good. I hate the stagger and repair mechanics. I wish FCSes still affected lock on range and reticle shape and size. Maybe less ridiculous non-AC bosses and more AC fights. And I wish the online mode had a little bit more to it than just 1v1 and 3v3 AC fights. But mostly... I just wish there was more of it. I finished NG++ today, and got all the log hunts, I've found every hidden part... I just want more missions and arena.

If i buy enough armored core copies we get chrome hounds 2 right?!

Great video! I think people are quick to forget how divisive a series can be with changes. Some people are now saying that AC6 isn’t “a true AC game”, but to me that makes little sense. It’s amazing and holds a lot of the spirit of the previous titles, and Armored Core has been changing since Nexus. People like to pretend that every game was the same before this, when in reality even the PS2 games had changes that were divisive, not to mention 4 and 5 with their radical changes.

People can say what they want, but FA is and will be the hypest of the bunch. I get that some people liked taking on debt and a more grounded approach, but the sheer speed of FA makes it a spectacle by itself

This is really great and hits real close to home. to this day I still hang out with most of the people I met through the tourneys that my friends and I ran. The only thing I think you missed mentioning is that NX eventually also brought about the use of Xlink Kai for an unofficial form of online play. Despite all our issues with NX, Kai was a big deal, it even brought back many salty old dogs like myself for a while at least. It even let western players play with eastern ones. I got to play with a great number of Japanese players through Kai

Ac has always been underground niche but the fanbase has been loyal af. The last thing we need is the new community, i could give a shitabout the new players f thm all!

Yeah, I Agree with the 4 and For Answer is Divisive, It actually destroy the community here in My country(ASIA / Not gonna tell where), That PS3 / 360 era there where No Competition and Our Small band of Ravens just disappeared.

Look, can't we all just agree that From Soft is damn good at making games that appeal to people who want difficulty at the core of the experience? With multiple choices within the greater game (whether the originals using mechanics like Human Plus or the Mech-esque controls, the attempt at revamping King's Field's design in Soulsborne, or the newer titles whether one prefers the agility of fourth gen or the teamwork in fifth gen) that make the seeming absence or simplicity of choice in the end still feel worthwhile, From Soft deserves a chance.

AC 5 was my first armored core and i love it so much,but people that were fans since the beginning hate it,and fans from the 4th generation did it as well 😂, i still remember being a new comer to the franchise and i didn't have anyone to talk to about AC 5 because older fans didn't like the game •-• and even today not manny like the 5th generation,so i played them all, and thus i could understand why older fans didn't like the 4th and 5th gens, and fans from 4th gen didn't like the 5th gen XD, and then I have become a die hard fan, my mom bought me a xbox 360 for my birthday and my dad gifted me Armored core 5 and dark souls, and since then i love from software, and it is incredible the success that the souls franchise bring to from software, but deep down in my heart there was that ich a feeling of something missing, something wasn't fine, it was armored core,did from software forgot it, nah they were just cooking something truly special, i had the opportunity to play AC 6, and oh boy,to all AC fans we are about to get the most warm welcome home you all feeled in your life,this game has something for everyone and even for the soul's community, and im glad im part of both,i love armored core and it is my favorite franchise of all time even more than dark souls, but its time to rejoice my friend's, this is going to be the best armored core of all time, a master piece that excels in every aspect, but shall we not forget our past,and our favorite AC's, and i hope From software remasters all of the old games or at least the main entries because emulators kinda suck😂😂

I first started my Ac last raven playthrough with them legs and I couldn't for the life of me conserve my energy, boost stats are pretty wild though besides that ! ( kinda look like Gecko legs from Mgs4 )

Actual OP-I must tweak the linear gun to make it way more accurate. Of course those mechs are also putting on a lot more pressure than a flying tank.

If the stats weren't so garbage and they didn't run the risk of overheating during build up, and drain your gen cap like mad, I might consider using them. To me standard cores are just better versions or them. Lighter, better stats, usually far better def stats etc. I just prefer being much faster with my normal boosters, the gimmick was absolutely crippled in Nexus-Last Raven.

You know why do people make comments like "the new dps meta"? For any veteran, there isn't a knew anything except the next installment of AC. Also I keep forgetting what "meta" means. Why are we making up new words for old words? No, it doesn't make you one of the "cool" kids.
