At Little Acorns Forest Schools, we offer a variety of Forest School sessions - the majority of these are catered for pre-school children, with the remaining being for the older learner. These are run on 3 different sites surrounding Swadlincote.
Alongside this, we also offer UK and International Forest School training, First Aid training and Safeguarding training courses. These training courses can be delivered in-house or off-site.

Yes that would work well I think. If you can hold and use sheath knife then it'll help to hold a pen or pencil.
I've heard of Silky saws, what your thoughts on them as apposed to the laplander?
Hi Fred - I would say that both have their merits. I prefer the laplander as it fits well in my kit. If in doubt - a laplander has a good history I think 🤔

Hi Fred - I would always recommend an older billhook if possible like a Brades perhaps. They seem to work better and shay's seem to be more hard wearing than the newer ones you can buy. I usually get mine from car boot sales or auction sites where you can usually get a good deal. Hope this helps? Dave 🌳

Hi all - this is a quick example of how to put up tarps using a quick release knot to secure around the trees. If you'd like to see more types of tarps please give me a shout :-)
