A few months ago I claimed this "might" have been one of the best levels ever made. That was an unfair understatement. This is easily one of the best levels ever made, and at least in my heart will always be. You are loved. Your story is heard. It wasn't until today when I read the CONNECT documents, but for over a year now this level has captivated me like no other, bringing me back time and time again due to this lingering (and now confirmed) feeling of some deep, deep emotion. As a way to get myself back into the Geometry Dash zeitgeist, about two years ago I came up with the idea of trying to rank every single extreme demon ever on a tier list with some friends, lasting over the course of many many months. This was my favorite find, alongside Ballistic Funk by IronIngot, albeit for entirely separate reasons. My friends did not get it at the time, and I'm not sure if they do now, but as someone who mainly plays this game for the artistic expression, it grabbed my attention and would not let go. I could go on and on about the wonderful ideas presented visually and thematically, whether in a vacuum or in the context of your emotional journey, but I think you deep down already know the greatness that this level is. You are your own magnum opus. This level is just a glimpse. From one person with a life entirely drenched in and owed to music to another, your creation in this medium has done justice to art and music that I have only seen in very very few select other levels (Black Blizzard and Commatose, off the top of my head). This isn't just a great visualizer for the song, no, this level makes this song what it is. This is the type of level that could only be made by someone with a true love for art and music, for someone with a love they just want to have reciprocated. This isn't about extreme demon placements, deserved ratings, or critical appeal. This is about you. That is what makes this level - and you - special. I pray you come to find solace when looking back on your past struggles, firmly assured that, in the end, life is worth living. I may be a stranger to you, but I know damn well things would be different for me and many others had you not shown the love you've given out into the world. There is nothing more I can wish for you than the best. Whether that be your creating career, personal life, or future endeavors. Your bravery to speak has touched the hearts of many. I would love to hear your voice again.

(as cringy as this sounds) i love the levels you make and the stories connected with them, i've read both the connect and psychedelic documents and i understand all of the stuff you talk about. I'm still trying to figure myself out since at the moment i am confused about who i genuinely am so hearing that you also went through something similar lets me know other people are going through the same situation and sort of gives me a sense of relief. thank you

the choice to use a koraii song despite being openly gay is certainly interesting (and yes i know its intentional) but this level uses it perfectly, absolute masterpiece

Revisiting this level a year later after its release is honestly a good thing to do. This one is very solid in my personal opinion. Considering the fact that Koraii songs has a lot of distortions, to pull off a 4 minute level is definitely an achievement, however to pull off an outstanding 4-minute level is even more impressive. Looking forward to your new works :^)

Happy birthday connect! I thank you also mcres for giving me motivation to keep on building levels, since your levels are rather pleasant and interesting regarding concept and stories even. Connect's story is very personal and it shows the struggles you went through, but it's also a project that shows you're not giving up yet. I hope you don't give up with your objectives and I hope you keep on building, showing that levels don't need to have the same ideas for them to be good. You don't fear experimenting, and that's neat. Thank you! 😊
