An acquaintance that's a really good Jiyan main teached me this rotation. Since then, I've been practicing to get the results I wanted. It's a very good and fast rotation. It was a bit difficult for me to do it at first until I got used to it xD

They are underrated, yep. In fact, they're one of the strongest characters in the game, but people often thinks "nah, Rover is garbage just because they're free". And yeah, they also have a really good quickswap potential. Mine can't be played on a duo DPS comp because, well, his stats makes him are all or nothing. You have no idea of how many times I had to retry this speedrun just because Rover didn't want to land two crits in a row 💀

Yeah, this rotation requires a lot of practice, but it's totally doable with a controller. Honestly, this video is a bit outdated since I have improved a lot my performance with the Calcharo Changli team.

Thanks my dude. Trust me, it was a matter of luck to get rid the wolves quickly. Jiyan destroy them with ease, but the problem is stack them up with the fire worms.

Something that's holding me back a bit is my Rover stats xD, he has a Jinhsi complex and even with Shorekeeper buff, it's a bit hard to consistently criting two ults in a row, that's why I'm waiting so much for Rinascita to see if we finally get the last dupes (and havoc Rover full potential, too).

@@wildcrown340 oh i definitely know what you mean about the crit fishing, nothing urks me more than when the key parts of you're rotation misses the crit and cripples you're clear or potential break. I completely feel you on Rinescita tho im dying to get the new tempest for my boys and also to prep units like lingyang with better gear as well as rover's upgrades.

It makes a run that shouldn't take more than 15~20 minutes with a team like Rover and Danjin, to a nightmare of 40 minutes or more just to get the best clear time 💀

But if you take the picture at the start ( boss will come out right away ) , is count at 5:00:00 ( in this vid no matter how you count is still 53s~ with Verina & no S6 mortefi , I think you already did very great job!!

Because I have to crit phish until I get two critical ults. That's why I can't play him without Shorekeeper and it's pretty reliant on the S6. I could get another Dreamless, but the crit rate would be 60% at worst and 64% in the case of a max roll, which is very unlikely to happen xD, not to mention all the other stats, especially CD and energy regen. In case you don't understand my Dreamless stats, she has the max roll for CD, high double attack rolls, high liberation damage roll and high energy regen roll. It's practically a Jinhsi build: miss the crit and you're out.

She's without a doubt the best character for quickswap. It's amazing how Changli fits on almost any comp and still do her job. I highly recommend you to get her man. She's my second favorite character just behind Calcharo. I love playing them together 😩 Also, her team with Cachalote it's just insane. The synergy, the damage, the smoothness. @@Fabian5cu Sí, debo admitir que al principio tenía la opinión sesgada de que Jiyan era un personaje que no requería cerebro para usarse, pero una vez comencé a practicarlo más y a analizar sus runs, aprendí que es todo lo contrario. Tampoco es que sea Calcharo, pero tiene la suficiente expresión de habilidad para diferenciar entre una persona que sabe lo que hace y otra que juega a un nivel básico el personaje.

Thanks dude. I forgot to change the resolution to 1080p again xd, but hey, at least it's a pretty good video. I think I can still improve the rotation, but the RNG from Rover's ult it's really messy and frustrating 💀, and honestly I don't want to try again until the end of this cycle, maybe.

I have never tried to play with keyboard ad mouse, so I don't know if it's more comfortable or not. If you're already used to keyboard and mouse, then it's not necessary to practically learn from 0 the game Thanks for the comment dude uwu

Se, en el video de Scar hago un poco mejor la rotación. El problema que estoy teniendo acá es juntar a los lobos y evitar que me interrumpan la rotación. Lo intenté varias veces y tuve una que otra run buena juntándolos, pero la reiniciaba porque me pegaba la Abominación y me interrumpía, o cancelaba sin querer alguna habilidad. Cosas del speedrun xd Veré si hoy en la tarde o el fin de semana hago la run con más tranquilidad, lo mismo la run de Scar. Hice una run tan buena que por desgracia no grabé, pero creo que la hice en 4:17 o 4:18; básicamente me duró una rotación entera y una ulti de Jiyan. Gracias por el apoyo bro. Conozco la rotación, pero aún sigo practicando con el personaje y los jefes. No le tengo ni de cerca las horas que le tengo a Calcharo, así que aún estoy mejorando xd

​@@wildcrown340No se refiere a eso... Se refiere a que no estas haciendo swaps rapidos de Mortefi ni nada de eso, no estoy seguro si de verdad sabes cual es la rotacion ya que es solo de hacerlo. Es mas facil juntarlo si haces la rota rapido. Solo digo que cheques ahi a ver, si quieres mejorar.

​@@wildcrown340Ademas la recarga que tienes esta bien, es solo de una mejor rotacion. Te faltan habilidades, y Qinlongs y por eso te falla tanto.

No considero que las hago mal, pero obviamente aún no sé hacer las rotaciones avanzadas que hace Fabián para speedruns. Por eso escribí que con una rotación perfecta podría lograr un mejor tiempo. Con más práctica las podré lograr Respecto a los Qingloongs, creo que los estoy cancelando mal. Cuando tenga un poco más de tiempo reviso bien.

​​@@wildcrown340 La principal razon de porque no te dan los 8 es por las habilidades, por lo general se usa una durante la ulti. Y es cancel rapido, no tardado como el dash. Si lo haces como el dash pierde los 8 qingloongs.

@@MagisterialVoyager I assume it's a very noticeable damage increase, not to mention the higher personal damage of Mortefi. I'll get his dupes eventually, but for now I don't really need it.

Yeah, it's something I should feel proud of, and I am, but I wanted to make a speedrun with a timer of 3:50, and then I wanted to make a speedrun with 2 sets of 4 DMs. I just burnt out my brain spending too much time doing it so xD The next cycle with the heron I will definitely try to achieve the speedrun that I want. Maybe I should finally increase Shorekeeper's abilities to help me with that xD

@wildcrown340 yep I know how that burn out can set in. You'd be surprised at the things you can get 2 sets of DMs on. I think I've done heron Aix and Inferno rider so far but with heron usually there's a trick to knowing how to still get the 4th even if he does the fly. It's been a while since I paid attention to it but I think it was when he raises the left wing that's the double swing and he won't fly and if he raises the right wing it's 1 big swing and he will fall get up and fly, usually you can save the most time by maneuvering you're DMs to go underneath the wing being raised and go around his back.

@@rengi10 Yeah, that's exactly the trick I was doing, but it's the right wing instead of the left wing. The problem comes when I messed up the 4 DM or any part of the rotation and I have to reset the run 💀 But anyway, this is the second time I try to make a hard rotation with Calcharo and Changli, especially against the heron and the first time I try 2 sets of 4 DMs, but the next cycle I'll do it better. Compared to this boss and Inferno Rider, the rest are quite simple to maneuver with. As always, thank you so much for your support dude 🥺

​@@wildcrown340 No haha. TBH , I never did 4dm only Cal stand , I tried so many times.🤣 My pings is unstable and only 60fps , I dont know how about 120fps and stable pings play like. Thanks u , I think use control to play is so hard , so Im very admiring control player.💪

@@20.Autumn I think you can do it with 60~70ms, unless your ping goes to 100ms from 60 or something like that. And ye, I don't think the controller makes harder the game, but there are some tricks like pressing the echo button for the Fallacy attack that's impossible to do on controller unless you change the setting. In fact, in the 1.2 patch Kuro change the default setting for the echo button, but I was so used to the previous setting that I changed it again. Thanks for your support dude. He's a really hard to master character, but that's what I love of Calcharo. Once you learn how to quickswap, cancel his animations, the 4 Death Messenger technique, rotations, etc, you can feel how strong he really is. If you want to improve with him, I recommend both Morment and Kurotura's channels, they are some of the best Calcharo mains I know.

I think I can lower it about 5s or make a cleaner rotation, but at least I can make the 4 DMs consistently and I'll implement the tech more often now. I don't want to think that Kuro increased the HP the heron have, just like they did it before this patch, if I am not mistaken. Edit: Okay after watching a few times the video, I think I know how to improve the time and the quickswap. I'll try to do it again tomorrow

@@rengi10 At the end I didn't get the whole ult energy because I missed a Qingloong trying the dash cancel, but that 9% more energy regen makes all the difference compared to my previous monke echo. For now I'll leave his gear like this, until I get a double crit 3 cost echo and a better Beringal, even if I have to sacrifice all the spicy stats those two have. Thanks for the support dude 🥺 P. S: You dont' know how many tries it took me to make another speedrun. At first I did it with a normal rotation (not the Verina outro > Jiyan ult), but then I tried again and I kept triggering the second phase xD, so yep, it's a bit of RNG to not activate that shit.

Ya you'll clean up more the more and more you practice execution, i know for a fact it took you a good amount of tries to get something you're comfortable with and thats honestly the most valuable experience, S6 morty will be a very noticeable buff to him and fixing the echo will also so I wish you the best of luck on picking up those morty's and not getting rng screwed.

its wild that our MC unit can brick those kinds of numbers at a reasonably fast rate without any playstyle gimmicks, i havent used my havoc rover in some time so it was nice seeing this out the blue. gives me a little excitement for when i have to get him rdy to do videos around Camellya's release.

@@rengi10 And they're gonna be even better once Kuro finally get released their copies. I know my build is not that realistic or common (Changli's sign and low crit rate, very high attack and crit damage), but that doesn't take away the enormous potential havoc Rover has. I wish more people give them a try, especially with Danjin and Shorekeeper, which in my opinion are their best partners by far.

I'm not a good Jiyan xD, you don't know how many runs I tried to make a good video. It's ironic because I had to slow down my rotations due Jiyan's damage: he hits so hard that I was triggering Fallacy's second phase, starting to fly over the stage. With Mortefi S6 I could maybe skip the whole second phase. But thanks for commenting! I really appreciate it.

I tried with Shorekeeper, but honestly she was slowing down the rotation. I find Verina way more faster and smoother for the dragon boys.

You can see them at 2:39. Basically double crit in every echo except Dreamless, and three of them have liberation damage. It's a bit funny cuz I forgot to use Shorekeeper's Fallacy at the beginning, so Rover should make like... 250k damage per ult. I'll try to make a better run before this cycle ends.

That moment when the boss has to call a timeout. For someone who just got him recently you're playing him pretty well tho, he's easy to pick up but a little harder to optimize because his team isn't swap heavy but if you do they feel and look so much better.

@@wildcrown340 oh dw, most of us spend a good bit of time trying to record good runs its not just you lol. I didn't even realize you're Morty wasn't maxed, I'm looking to gear and update mine soon also because it is holding the team back slightly. As far as verina vs SK, verina is definitely alot easier to use and is more cost friendly, SK has to make some sacrifices until she's S3 then she becomes pretty smooth.

Almost 30% heavy attack bonus makes all the difference man xD. Soon I'll make another video, but this time his signature. He deals almost 15k per hit now. Also, I'm trying a faster rotation: instead of Shorekeeper, I'll try using Verina which is WAY more smooth and quick than SK.

Thanks man. I can improve more my performance with practice. I started to play this team like... the first days of this patch, so I have a big room to get better with rotations, especially with Shorekeeper. And yes, Blazing Brilliance is surprisingly good with havoc Rover. 110k damage per forte resonance skill complements really well Rover's damage.
