Snake style is the mix of Akido, Judo and Wing Chun

I feel like that’s how most Yakuza mc(beside Haruka, Ichiban and the gang) fight. They mix many style into one. For example, Kiryu’s iconic fighting style has a little bit Kyokushin Karate plus some wrestling move to it, Akiyama also mixed both Kickboxing and Taekwondo. And since in lore, Yagami learned how to fight mostly by self-taught, I’m not surprised if Yagami mixed both Aikido and Wing Chun to create “Snake” style.
