Groundbreaking for new £25 million Slough Community Diagnostic Centre
Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to announce that construction has begun on the new £25 million Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) for Slough.
This state-of-the-art facility, set to open for Christmas 2025, will transform healthcare access and outcomes for residents of Slough and the surrounding areas.
On Friday 22 November, Frimley Health and NHS Frimley leaders, local MP Mr Tan Dhesi, Mayor Dhillon of Slough, and construction and estates development partners Western Building Systems Ltd and NHS Property Services gathered to mark the major milestone.
In this video, they discuss the benefits this facility will provide for the community, the continued support for local populations, reducing health inequalities and more.

i always refuse surgeries and i dont cooperate
The traffic situation around Frimley Park Hospital is a disaster, caused largely by mismanagement of parking at the hospital. Local people are fed up.
I wish my mom had this. She has an open nephrectomy. 😢
The traffic situation is absolutely desperate right now. There needs to be a separate entrance on the other side of the site to stop funnelling all the traffic through Frimley.

If you need staff I suggest you offer some incentives…. But you wont.
What excited me most about FPH was leaving to work elsewhere.
My child is 6 year old , is there any other options to solve the blockage. Kindly help.
Kindly go for laproscopic surgery, because it may leads to formation of stones in future ........I had surgery that too at the age of 28 ,I had a stone of 2 cm due to that blockage.......now I am perfectly alright.....consult a well experienced urologist

Awesome, porter for 8yrs this yr 😊 it's a bit hard to keep motivated and positive with a demoralizing environment, overworked, short staffed,also working with people that don't take this job seriously is a challenge, the negative attitude is contagious if you're not careful, I always try to stay motivated and high spirits, not always easy but with the help of the Holy Spirit anything is possible 😅

I just had my left kidney removed. They said they cut it up into small pieces so they could pull it out of the small incisions instead of making a large one

@ВалентинВалев-о5е I've had my procedure near the end of December of 2023. It works! Soon, you will be able to pee normally again. You can drink normally again and not feel your kidney fill up so quickly and cause pain. Since the operation, I have not had hydronephrosis. Please get the surgery 🙏

How close is the ureter snipped off to the bladder? Does it matter to leave it longer than shorter?
Just make sure not to hurt the uterus artery or the ductus deferense so I guess the higher the better
Approximately 2/3rd from kidney of ureter is removed…
I have a friend going into Heatherwood Hospital this weekend for a hip operation so I went to check out the details of address and phone number. Then I went into the TH-cam film of the building of the hospital. From the perspective of having been a medical secretary in many different units, I was most impressed with the film showing all the facilities and also the contractors film. This is the NHS at it’s absolute best.

Sir solitary kidney by birth and in 2016 pcnl already done but now again stone developed and puj obstraction also and grade 3 hydroneprosis... Pls advice is it possible to remove all stones from kindney and correction of puj in single surgery... Pls advice
My dr is doing PUJO surgery and stones at same time to deal with grade 4 hydronephrosis. Sounds like 1 surgery is all it takes it’s just 4 hours long.
