This channel is mainly to show off my N Scale, O Gauge, and Lego trains layouts as I build them and run trains on them. I'll also share videos of other train related items and activities. Also, there will be lego build videos as I work on the Lego train area. I'll also go live at times running trains and working on things.

I'm sure it will be great. I'll never say I'm the best at any of this. I just do what I like. There are a lot of modelers out there that I wish I could do half of the job they do with things
Your off to a nice start, really liked the finished layout. I'd be curious as to what sized gravel you used?
N scale woodland scenics ballast and then actually just gravel from outside that I ran through strainers to get the tiny rocks and the dust
Hi, whats that locomotive you got in the display area behind halloween car?
If your talking about the yellow and brown UP on display, that is a City of LA E unit that is just a Christmas ornament that I used a park display

Sorry for that. to hook it to the layout, you just use the one wire that you used for the Legacy system if you had it. I'm still trying to figure it all out and there are really good videos out there on it. I was just showing it off
Awesome you got one. I’m pretty happy with my CAB-2 and lucky I have one. Gotta save my money for a house and get out of this apartment first. Looks very cool and the 4 digit addressing would really come in handy. BIG 👍🏻

The buildings are from Amazon and Ebay and the road was from Ebay

Rails are awful close to the edge of the board. Could have a loco falling off.
So far so good and only cheap DC engines run on it and they run slow

I thiught i knew the total number of cars that went with the area 51 traim set theme had no idea there were 3 extra cars that went with it... I was only aware of the smoking box car and the radioactive casks flat car... Its cool to see the others... Is that all for the area 51 railroad or is there more to collect?
Yes, they have brought out some extra cars. the two new one just came out this year.
Nice layout. It looks bigger than 2'x4'. I'm in the gathering stage of collecting stuff for my layout on my dining table (78"x40"). Mine will be two ovals, one for freight and one for passenger trains with a highway running left to right. Similar to those small towns you see when you round a curve or top a hill and are out the other side before you know it. A very small yard in front. I manged to place all the switches in the front so I won't need to connect then with wiring. Good job, thanks for sharing.

I suggest a Post Office if you don’t already have one! Would add a pretty cool scene with a truck or 2
I don't have room for one on the 2'x4' layout but woodland scenics does have one that I'm going to get for the main layout.
Are the trucks sprung on the flat car?
No, they are just the cheap Menards wheel sets that roll just good enough.

Thank you. I must say that I'm not sure if that Lionchief engine can pull anymore cars though. It does slip a little on the corners. The slag car is heavy

Thank you. I'm having fun with it. Just taking my time as I'm just using Woodland Scenics buildings for the most part and they are a little high priced so buy when I can. lol The road are off of ebay but you can probably find them else where. They are called Easy Streets Roadway system and there is a bunch of different pieces you can buy.
I like your N scale layout it really looks good it's looks like you are making progress and that's good And I really like that Auto Rack Train you are running. I have always like Auto Rack trains and also I really like that MP Train that you are running and what type Of MP models of locos you have running with that train one looks like GE unit is this correct hey you keep up the Good Work ok I hope you can make another video of your N scale layout a good job well done

use a white or green to paint insulators on telephone poles, to rain on your parade I thought Fed Ex was too close to track at crossing as well . Layout is coming along well ! nice job !
they are actually painted a green. It's just not showing up well in the video. it was funny watching the car hit the Fed Ex van though.

Liked & subscribed (#668) - your attention to detail makes your layout better than most, at least on the parts that are "finished" (like that ever happens). I think you should try to keep the mine off of the mainline by whatever means works. As for a constructive criticism, backgrounds matter. From what I have noticed as a non-modeler, the most effective backdrops take the horizon pretty far up, so there's a lot of ground in the background. (I heard photographer backdrops are cheap...) IMO that would really sell it and make your cinematics look like the real thing. Overall, looks great so I want to follow along & see what happens next...

Glad you liked it. I've come to expect what you get with Menards stuff. I buy a lot of it because of the price and it don't look that bad but you also get the issues that come along with it at times *lol*
