Here's a combination of the 3 videos recorded by myself, Graham, and Simon on the same race. Great fun! I ran over the yellow line at 6:20 and got penalised for an entire lap! Here is my first ever race at Le Mans Super Karts, Dandenong, on the Lakeside Track. This time yellow flags stayed away, but I ran over the yellow sensors, so had a nice slow lap to think about what I did wrong ;-)

Here is my first ever race at Le Mans Super Karts, Dandenong, on the Lakeside Track. A few yellow flags made it a relatively slow race unfortunately.

Here is a video of me doing a double session on a Tuesday morning with the track to myself (it's quiet during the day). The last few laps is where my fastest times were. I was aiming to get under 46.0, which I did with a 45.785. I'm not a great driver, but I have no idea how the good racers get low 44s!

Sucks that you had yellow flags for most of the race
Yeah, I also chose the wrong side a couple of times trying to get around, then the one in front slowed to a crawl. Race 2 was better, although I ran over the yellow speed limiter at one stage and got slowed for an entire lap!

Pretty constant times there mate. Cleaning up your racing line and breaking points should take a second or two off your times. Ever though about giving league a go?
Thanks Wizzad, the kink back at the end gets me the most I think. I’m not sure I have the entry right. Also the double apex before the back straight, I’ve heard people don’t brake there! I’ve done one enduro, but couldn’t keep up to learn enough! LOL.
@@humanizedrobot the trick to the double apex before the back straight is, to enter the first apex around mid track, then try link it close to the second apex as this will give you more momentum onto the back straight
Thanks I’ll try mid track entry. I normally touch the brake just before the first and try to hug them both, but I’ll try a bit wider. Every little bit helps! Thanks.
@@humanizedrobot I'm usually on the throttle until I'm just past the tyres on the left right next to the start line. I'll be racing the individual and enduro in a few weeks, and possibly both Wednesday and Thursday league. If you're around, and you don't recognise me, ask one of the staff to point me out. Yes, they have no issues as long as it's secured properly.

@@harryjsingh6997 As this is my first helmet cam, I didn't splash out! LOL! I bought this one from Kogan (www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-4k-dual-screen-action-camera) and mounted it with a chin strap (www.kogan.com/au/buy/zoestore-full-face-helmet-chin-mount-jaw-holder-motorcycle-helmet-strap-for-gopro-hero-d6985) It was very easy to put together, and works well with the waterproof case on the camera.
