I’m so happy to hear you find it relaxing, thank you 🌸 My mom is doing better but I still worry. It’s as if she’s in denial what happened and to take things slower as the doctor said, but I keep a very close eye and make sure she takes her meds. I really need to sort out my spare drills box in DMC code hehe, but I’m happy to hear it gives motivation. I don’t think it’s necessary to look fantastic and go buy expensive organizers, just use what’s in the house. I have some files with business card sized slips that I currently have my round drills in small zip log baggies stashed, but I need to move that over to a box as well. @@steffysdiamonds You’re a great daughter! And yes, a lot of people go into denial about diagnoses. It took my mom’s boyfriend a while to accept he had cancer. Luckily, he just needs radiation and not chemo, but it’s scary to face difficult things! Keep up the great caregiving and diamond painting videos! 😄

Lol yes I know! The trays I alao have my go-to’s, but I have this shelf in my craft room with “collectibles” which are my pretties to look at and display and I that pink skull was just too pretty not to get, but I am going to use all those trash cans and that big bin for all my bits and bobs always falling off my table. 😃

Thank you R, that’s very kind of you. ❤️ I still miss her as she was like a sister growing up, but I learned for my mental health I have to leave negative and unsupportive people and places behind and don’t bring sentiment into the decision. Just walk away. I did that with 2 workplaces now as well. It’s crazy how much toxicity there are lately. Or maybe it’s always been there, I’m just more attuned to see it now. 🌸 xx

I think she had an event with a specific artist’s paintings if I remember right, and that’s the only reason I couldn’t join as I don’t have any of that artist’s artwork diamond paintings, next time! It’s shocking to hear a company doesn’t want your money, and they go further and turn down your family members when they link them to you. I was banned for just commenting on another small business’ company which was seen as a competitor…and again that makes no sense. This is getting ridiculous. But I must say before I was banned and my mom ran out of a colour for Majestic Ship I also thought they would send enough, they sent one small packet. Not enough. So we looked at my spare drills for a close enough colour as I didn’t have that specific colour. So I’ve since just thought of their warranties being void. I suggest you ask another diamond painting company to buy the drills you need to finish your canvas, or ask on Facebook if someone has spare drills in the colour you need. Not sure in which country you reside but here in South Africa people are so kind in the diamond painting community, no DAC drama llamas, and they and I are always willing to help with spares. I know it’s off putting to work on a canvas of theirs after that behaviour, I had to tell myself forget the company, instead look at the artwork and artist, that’s what I support. This of course relates to my existing stash. And when I do see an image I love or one of my favorite artists’ artwork and know they’re exclusively licensed with DAC, I’ll see if I can find it from a private seller. The warranty is in anycase void. Thank you for sharing your experience. There’s a lot of us in this community that can relate and feel angry. Try get those drills somewhere else and think of it being a project you’re doing for your grandson. I paint my canvases borders so the company name doesn’t show, or if you frame it. So let the name disappear and finish that canvas for him. ❤️❤️

Love it and agree. It upsets me so much to hear no sorry you’re overqualified that I almost want to leave out a degree, like seriously, especially where you are invited for an interview, I’ve still been told that. You can see on my CV what qualifications I have, if I’m gonna be overqualified then don’t ask me to come for an interview. And same. A lot of CA’s I know are book smart. I.e. don’t ask them to do the practical work. Titles do not define you, how you treat people does. Okay, now my rant’s over. Thank you my friend. I’m banned from them as well. They closed my account and took all my points. So now I can only buy from destashes. I was a weekly buyer from them until I commented on another small shop’s YT video and everyone who commented got banned. I got an email saying my last order which was already in its way was cancelled and they don’t want to be associated with my any more. So I’m bot dealing with them anymore. But if I like an image and an artist is exclusively licensed with them I’ll see if I can buy it from a destash. Tfs your experience. Totally relate to your feeling. xx

Hi! Hmmm…I know it came in my last group import in March this year. I buy paintings at various companies in the USA over a few months, and when there’s a lot, I import them together. It doesn’t have the new perforated film, so I bought it probably start of this year. I’m guessing. I don’t keep track when I buy what, I probably should log that into my tacking app too: date ordered. 🙈 xx

I bought her from a private destash and think I might have paid $150-ish (thereabouts). I searched for a long time and was also a diamond member, sometimes that just didn’t help. My Enys Guerrerro Button Eye mystery kit which was my top unicorn, I paid $250 for in a destash. I respect each person’s views on this. I wanted them really bad, I knew the seller and they needed the money more than I did, I had the money to do that at the time, but now I’m done chasing expensive destash items. Getting my 2 unicorns was enough and even though there’s always ISO’s, I will only buy them at reasonable prices. I believe you will find her one day. Things have a way of crossing our paths when we least expect it. xx

@@steffysdiamonds that's what I hope for. I have considered paying that price for her. It was offered to me once by someone I knew. I ended up turning it down, but if I had the funds, I'd likely have done it. I hope one day she does become mine, but if not, I have plenty in my stash to last years to come. Yes unfortunately they do that a lot. Everyone who commented on that video I mentioned, got banned because it was a big topic at that time. And when I started joining small business groups on FB and here, people talk about that’s how they came here because they got banned, and nobody still in the D VIP FB group will talk about it in fear they get banned too. I still have the email, that was the worst being told we don’t want to associate with people who commented on that video, please do not buy from us in future again. I tried but they just cancel your order and refund you your money. I still love the art so now I have to get it indirectly.

I was worried to get bad comments, as sometimes you see that with stash videos, but everyone has been so lovely and kind. The diamond painting I was looking for I actually found in the other room’s closet, and I added her in the app. The app shows 146 at the moment. I think I’ll still be below 160 in total. Not too rough. People with over 400 stashes is quite an overwhelming thought for me. But I have some cross stitch conversion patterns as well, just need to buy the drills and blank canvases, and then I ordered 2 new customs. 😊 Have a lovely day. Sending a big hug, xx ❤️

Thanks for the tip my friend! I go through plastic multiplacers quite fast as I’m a hard presser and they get those rough edges quickly. Instead of throwing them away I should try that and use them a bit longer! I hope these blue ones that look like a harder material will last longer. I don’t really love the metal tips, tried them all, the plastic ones are mych nicer to work with in my opinion. xx🩷

@irenemeyer6220 Yes! We are the same then. My favorite is also the 7 placer plastic tip. Luckily if you run out of them, ask Simone for more. She has those nice plastic ones (7 and 4 placers). I have also broken some. xx ❤️

Yes! I’ve seen DAC started making screw in metal tips, but I like working with plastic tips more than their metal ones, so I will definitely be trying them out! 😃💙
