Easier said than done. Something happened in between last week before a,Tango Technique class and after. Last week I heard the music and was able to dance to it. Just the simplest steps. No Sacadas or any type of dance moves like that. Then I took a Tango Technique class where I had difficulty doing some of the Technique moves and done not being to keep u I with the instructions and tge rest of the class. Now, the last two days I am unable to follow the music. Song tgat I have heard, danced and practiced with before. Now. No rhythm at all.

This is awesome, I started dancing tango recently and I’m struggling with understanding the rhythmic structure of the music where I find myself off beat somehow and not knowing why! This is helping me a lot, I discovered your videos few days ago, since then I’m listening to tango music and visualizing it, hopefully this will help me to connect and respond to my dance partner better. Thank you for these videos, and you passion for tango is amazing and showed on your face🙏🏻

It is called the "Habanera" and it's a specific rhythmic division in Tango music, from the origins of Tango.

Excellent visual illustration. In the past I tried to use a similar way to illustrate the compasses using chairs but is more difficult to visualize due to the objects are bigger and separated and I needed to move from one to other in a faster mode to mark the beats syncope
