“Who are you?”-a voice questions endlessly,
Echoing before dissolving into oblivion.
The rhythm of this ticking heart-truth or deception?
A silhouette sways beneath the charred sky.
Fragments of a future spill through the cracks,
Each grasp slicing deeper into my fingertips.
A sea of scrap metal swallows the twilight,
Silence becomes violence, stripping away my soul.
A prayer offered to collapsing order-
Is it void, or merely hope’s shadow lingering?
Floating debris questions its meaning,
Unyielding vows choke my voice.
“Where does it end?”-a scream pierces the gears,
Ground to dust within the teeth of time.
Caught between the cycles of past and future,
Flames of code rise, guiding me forward.
At the edge of a broken world, a shadow stands,
Each search for you breaks me anew.
Every tear in the twisted night spills light-
Is it truth or a fleeting mirage?
In a trembling chorus of voiceless cries,
Only one-this steel heart-beats resolute.
Defying the phantoms of accelerating time,
I drink in the memory of sinking stars.
Even with all lost, I continue to exist,
Seeking the sole reason I found you.
Deep with in a sterile dream,
A clocktower collapses silently.
As if to piece together this fractured world,
A solitary voice resonates through it all.
