Nolting Diamond - Longarm Machine Introduction
Help. I need a new bobbin case for my voyager 17. What size and where can I get one.
What was the hardest thing for you when you were learning to quilt?
You could use a quilt instead of a picture
Thank you for this. ❤
We're so glad you enjoyed it!
I relate to this in my core. Everything Kim says is so spot on. Great interview and thank you for sharing. ❤
Kim truly is wonderful to learn from. We're so glad you were able to relate!
@noltinglongarm 😍
🙏So happy to see an interview with a Nolting expert quilt maker🎉!
We're glad you enjoyed it - stay tuned for more!
The women on both my side and my husband's side of the family are/were all quilters, sewers, and seamstresses. The quilts tell the stories of our ancestors and keep us closely connected ♡
It is truly special how quilting can connect generations! Thank you for sharing
❤
This is the first copy of the Harriet Powers quilt I've ever seen. Love the explanation of some of the quirks (planned or not).
We're happy you found it interesting!
Ms Millie, hello from Georgia. As a beginner quilter, I found your interview inspiring. This senior (74) looks forward to seeing more of you and your inspirations. Thank you; take care.
Hi, thank you so much for your kind words!
What a wonderful lady! I used to quilt and Millie has inspired me to give it a go again. She is so right, if you make a mistake the world doesn't end, keep trying! I also liked when she said not to give tech privilege over creativity! Wow! I so needed to hear those words!
We're so glad to hear that this video inspired you...good luck getting back into quilting! We wish you the very best, Laura <3
WHERE DID YOUR MOTHER GET HER HOME ECONOMICS DEGREE. ???
DO YOU NEED FABRIC OR BIAS TAPE FOR EVEN FOR BABY QUILTS. ???
And yet the borders are very strsight. ....
I love this so much ❤
I absolutely love this! Millie might just inspire me to start quilting. I’ve held onto so many sentimental pieces, like baby clothes from almost 20 years ago, and quilting seems like the perfect way to give them a new life while cherishing the memories they hold.
We're so happy Millie's story was able to inspire you!
What inspired YOU to start quilting? 👇♥
Interesting!
Today i learned something. Nice 😊 and it is inspiring, too. Thank you 😊
The intricate depths of cultural and mythological influences in... quilts. I love it. There's often more than meets the eye, even with something like a quilt.
This is such a wonderful discussion! I’m glad that the creators artistic choices were being brought up as well instead of just looking at it technically
Lol
Thats so cool to learn😮
Dang it, I am not sure I want content like this in my shorts feed, but it's so good I have to appreciate it with a thumbs up and a comment.
Do you not enjoy interesting and informative things?
Brilliant
so cool :)
Very interesting 😯
Great insight!
Wonderful! Good teacher! ❤❤❤
HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOLTING!!
THANK YOU! 💗
This is a great video Melody! Thank you!
I'm so glad you like it, thank YOU! 💗
This is great. I wish you had a good dealer/repair person in WA state. I had to take my Pro 24 to Oregon to get fixed.
Hi, As we are a small business it can be a bit of a struggle at times to expand our dealer network, but we are actively working to do so. Hopefully we can get someone in your area soon!
What’s the exception? It would be interesting to know.
Glad to have this, I will save it so I can review it periodically.
Thank you for this. I really appreciate all the information provided. I learned a lot of helpful little details, which are important for me to understand and remember things. I hope you keep doing this. I would love one on timing. (And I agree a tripod would be nice, but I appreciate the information enough to overlook that!)
How are you stopping the bottom piece from moving? Im fixing my wifes and anytime i move the needle bar the assembly moves as well
Thomas, if you need tech help you can give us a call at 319-378-0999!
@noltinglongarm thank you so much! I actually got it going finally it was the hook assembly that was bad replaced that and was able to get her up and running again. Definitely saving your number though 😊
How did you come across a Nolting class? Are they offered often??
Hi Linda, We usually offer classes in the Summer and Fall! The best way to keep in the loop is to join our email list. You can call us at 319-378-0999 and we'll add you!
Thank you. I’ve just bought an older secondhand machine and your expertise is just what I needed.
Thanks for the tour of where my Nolting 18/8 IS2kn #330 was made!
Love this thanks
Just getting mine out of storage after 2 looong years and grateful you took the time to post this.
At 4:18 you have your machine upside down on what? What is that called please?
Do you sell parts for them?
My bobbin winder doesn’t wind evenly 🤷🏻♀️
make a video that shows how to put the frame together piece by piece!
What about timing? Could skipped stitches mean your timing is off ?
Love this video. Wish I would have found it the other day but I certainly will save it for future reference. Thanks so much for making it.
These videos are great! Can you post a video on how to change the tension spring?
Saw in person last summer. Beautiful and WOW do I wish I had one. But LOVE my 'old' machine with my new stitch regulator.
Looks like some wonderful additions. Love my machine. Does this have electronic channel locks?
