An unassuming landscape photo typically refers to a photograph of a natural scene that may not immediately grab attention or appear extraordinary at first glance. The term "unassuming" suggests that the landscape may lack dramatic elements or bold features. Instead, it might capture a more subtle beauty or a quiet, understated charm. These types of photographs often highlight the simple and eve...

TAMRON 35-150 f2-2.8 Nikon Z mount perfect for Landscape photography!.
Jeremy, can you tell us about your editing hardware, my old imac 27 is on the way out, your screen looks good
Great stuff! Thanks Jeremy.
I guess ya gotta be steady as ya go The results are fantastic
Thanks for putting in the effort Jeff, love the images mate.Keep them coming. 😊
Those look like crawfish holes.
Fresh water crabs,I later found out.
Nice video. But I think, any picture would has been taken also with Nikkor 24-120 or 24-200. The Clou of the lens is the aperture. But you are not addressing this particular feature. why not?
Hi Jeremy, buy a pair of boundary socks, excellent for this type of adventure
Did you get permision to photogrpah and video there?
Yes,luved in Tennant Creek. Did I fly a drone like every other tourist...no cause your not a loud l, did I photograph the old fig tree..no as you are not loud too.
You did well spotting that dropbear mate! Great video, cheers.
Every current Tamron lens is weather sealed. Never a worry, there.
Good review and fun to see you trying different genres! I got a Sigma 18-300 awhile back for the main reason of not having to change lenses all the time, and for the weight, and I love it. Getting too old to pack around the heavier lenses unfortunately. (Considered Tamron at the time as well). The quality works for what I need. This one looks great for what you are pairing it with.
Thanks for an and excellent and honest review. Did you try it in DX mode? I have the 100-400 S Lens, however this might be a good alternative for long hikes. Thanks again
The kookaburra was my favourite but your landscape always breathtaking ❤
LOL, I had to watch a video to put my Nikon strap on too when I got my new camera. The Peak quick release neck strap is the way to go though.
I live along the Murray River, going north is always interesting, enjoyed the video.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks
love the images. That's my kinda road trip. Enjoyed every minute. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice work Jeremy, would have been nice for your wife to get back to country and yourself to get out of the rat race
Cheers, was a great couple of days.
Great video mate! Very different style. Loved the change in scenery along the way. Only Australians and Americans can relate to this magnitude of road trip! It gave me the American Route 66 feel. Loved the photos mate, I really love the look of film in this style of photography! Totally enjoyed it pal! Chat soon!
Yip we both live in big countries, thanks for your support mate and hope you guys are doing good. This road trip was a fun way to use the camera and the film was even better!.
Outback towns have so much character. Love the architecture in and around Ballarat too.
Indeed they do man, hope you good.
I thought for sure I’d been to Colbar but I didn’t remember looking like that until I checked maps and realised nope, I’ve been to Coolah! Anyways fascinating to see you out with film cameras and capturing some beautiful shots in our stunning country! Hope you all had a great road trip.
Mate you would not forget Colbar lol. Thanks mate.
Very interesting to see the small outback towns and how you used your film cameras to capture the charm of them. Thanks for taking us along!
Thank you very much!
Very cool, Jeremy
thanks
Wow love this ❤
Nice work JP. Especially liked the building shots, very cinematic.
Glad you enjoyed it
I'm planning a photgraphy road trip in about two weeks time. Hope it works out as good as yours. 🙂
Best of luck!
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
@@JeremyPayne ❤
Nice one mate! Getting out to Aussie country towns to do a video has been something I’ve wanted to do for a while now. This has only further confirmed I need to make it happen!
You should!
1st comment! Amazing images
Thank you for the video - those landscapes are a photographers dream. What Z camera are you using as I can’t tell from the video?
Thanks mate,it's the first Z6.
@@JeremyPayne Cheers Jeremy. I'm moving over from Fuji and stil deciding between the Z6iii and 7ii series. Thought you had a 7 as they say its a landscapers camera but those images look amazing out of your 6. If you have any advice on this, I'd appreciate it.
@@robgotti4710 Both great cameras. 7ii is probably better for landscapes. If i was to upgrade id get the z6iii.
It's been a while - since you've released a video and since I've watched one! I'm taking a YT break but couldn't resist a new JP video! Your camera audio actually sounded pretty good despite the wind. Always wild to see snow in Australia - just something most people don't realize! Cool that Jess got to see snow for the first time! Amazing images as always pal, especially that beauty at 5:20! Sorry for my absence mate, it's been a long, busy, hot summer here. We definitely need to do a catch-up soon!
All good mate, im never on here either, in fact i don't even watch landscape vlogs from anyone anymore. I upload when i feel like making a video, which is probably why my channel has slowed right down lol. i have been shooting a lot of film lately which I find really enjoyably. All man lets get a catch going soon mate.
Nice one Jeremy. The B and W looked good with the sprinkling of snow. Good to see you out in the Bush again. 🌨️😁 The sound was OK for my tablet 🙂
Thanks 👍the sound was ok but as soon as the wind picks up,its crapola. Thanks Andrew.
Great to see you back. What's a bit of frostbite if you get a keeper! I was at Mt Macedon with my wife last week... perishing cold with lovely fog at 4 pm but having to rush my shots to keep my wife happy 😕
Nice one!
I grew up in Kyneton just a few kms away now live near Goornong north east of Bendigo, played plenty of football at Macedon(mas eh don, hard 1 to spell out but don like as in don is good lol) in the freezing cold rain haha, strangely enough only ever played footy in snow at Trentham though. 1983 Ash Wednesday bushfire ripped the heart out of the local community and surrounding towns, can't think of any recent fire there but could have been burn off 🤷♂️
Nice one, I live in Ballarat which is freezing but we dont get the snow, which isn't worth freezing for lol. Thanks for the imformation.
@@JeremyPayne I lived down there too from 07 to 09 out at Finchs road and it snowed once, i worked at Amart all Sports out at the wendouree home maker centre before moving back to Bendigo. I sold my silver mink with white roof 68 Impala to an older bloke before i moved, he was late 60s at the time and drove a big white Dodge
Well done Jetemy. Make sure you keep wearing that beanie.... don't want to get a cold noggin and have to amputate :)
lol will do.
i think your voice was great. and those black and white pics, really evoked my emotions. life and death in the woods. Wonderful to see you out Jeremy!
Thank you.
Love this mate. Love the sound track also. Any info on music link would be great 👍
It is in episound, I'm not home till Monday so I can't see that on my p.c which artist it's.ill let you know then.
Nice change, Jeremy
jesus man you have some steady hands. i couldn't imagine myself shooting handheld in that light :) crazy good photos by the way
Mate only about 5 shouts out of 12 came out usable, the rest to soft or camera shake. Learnt my lessons, use a tripod
@@JeremyPayne hah, i think we all did that mistake once in our photo journey, but as long as we live we learn so its alright. i have so much ptsd from that plus the fact that every shot costs that i end up shooting f8, f11 or even f16 almost all the time, with a cable release, so i get the focus close to what i want even if i do not manage to nail it properly. i really like the shot at 3:55 :D
A bit of a change for you , I enjoy shooting and exploring in old buildings , would like to see a bit more of this type adventure , Cheers Pete
Yes,I feel like landscape or woodland was getting uninspiring for me so I'm doing some different things
Very interesting and yes, very rich-looking film images. My favorite was the chair and old books. Sure wonder what the story behind that is!
Not sure the books but this shed looked like an old mechanical garage
Cool photos
Thanks
Nice stuff JP. Medium format is excellent for capturing the details and mood of those abandoned buildings.
Yeah for sure.
To be honest, your tattoos are just scary.
Yes
That's your take on the video?🤡
That reminded me when I used my father's camera as a teenager, I still have one of his old film cameras, actually a brought a film for it the other day
Get out and have fun
Haunting, but beautiful
Thanks
Nice job. Can’t remember the last time used film. But would love to start.
Love it
Nice work JP. Good to step back, slow down and force yourself to see new photos in a new medium. Hopefully when you go back to digital you will take a new eye with you.
I hope so too
Wow, I can't even imagine this being a first time, as this is the only thing we had. My first medium format was a Hasselblad 500...something. Guess they are all worth some money these days. It was either great, or very disappointing sending off the film to be developed and printed to see what one had captured. Can't remember if that was the camera I had that had an upside down image that I would view or not. Always great to see the "old school" cameras being dusted off and used once again! Awesome!!
Oh love the 500, my boss has one. Just got a mamiya 645
That was quite a surprise, but a nice change of pace mate! Film photography looks like a lot of work and quite challenging, but like you said, something to get that passion back a bit (which I've completely lost right now). Loved the b&w city shots near the end of the film! Looking forward to seeing what else you come up with shooting film. I've taken a bit of a break from YT (creating & watching), but I'm always down for a new Job film. Hope all is well mate, we need to schedule a chat soon!
Yeah I'm a bit bored with digital amd landscape photography, doing more film man.
Good on you , Jeremy for having a crack!
Thanks
