Dr. Kurt Campbell currently serves as the US Deputy Secretary of State, having been appointed by President Biden in February 2024. As the @WhiteHouse Coordinator for the Indo-Pacific, he was instrumental in frameworks such as The QUAD and AUKUS.
He was also the Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs under the Obama administration.

    You should have asked him: "Why is the West so tough on Russia's war but so forgiving on the many wars of the US which had way more civilian casualties than this Ukraine war?" I don't remember this kind of reaction from the International community regarding US's 2001 Afghanistan, 2003 Iraq, 2011 Libya - which left these countries in ruins.
