I really hope that the devs reveal what really happened one day (or maybe they don’t even know?) I don’t have a full theory, but I think there were two key elements: BCE and the flooding. I think BCE were trying to “remake the world” by doing weird stuff to the animals, like floppy. Maybe people were scared it would get out of control and the animals would all become like that, so they left before it happened (which could be why some graffiti says to leave before it’s too late) It probably also has to do with the flooding and beavers, like beavers caused a bunch of floods to people had to leave. I’m not sure if BCE and the floods are connected, but if they are, it could be that BCE did something to do beavers to make them build bigger and stronger dams that caused the floods.

This is so satisfying to watch lol I really hate the bears in this game :< for claiming the carcasses I marked, attacking our den and so persistent at that (more than others.). They're just the most annoying creature in this game 😮‍💨 Hopefully when the saga comes out I could do this with my grown up children lol (bet they'd want some payback to the bears that tried to kill them when they were little) 🤣 that'd teach those bears a lesson of attempting to take my pups away
