I'm Kureon-P and I'm a vocal synth cover artist from the Philippines...
I started using vocal sythesizers since I was 12 :D
I am a big fan of japanese culture and virtual singers/singing robots like
Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto... that's why I decided to make song covers with
virtual artificial voices called voicebanks.
I only know a tiny bit of Japanese...

A forgotten project featuring my English vb
Hey there y'all! I'm Kureon-P. First and foremost, I would like to apologize for being inactive for quite some time. Nonetheless, I am back with another video, showcasing a certain project in OpenUTAU that I had forgotten for the past few months. Digging through my files of random unfinished UST and USTx files, I had stumbled upon this particular USTx file of DEFINE ME, featuring my utau, Kitaka Allen, and his unarguably British-sounding voicebank. I used to show this off when I was doing a vc in my server in Discord. But then I forgot about it, because I prioritized in working with other covers in mind.

You can convert it to cv by using the utau itself to sing the samples Just a thought, it's actually kinda smooth without it being vcv or vccv or. Cvvv or anything
It’s already a CV/diphone bank by default… Though, I was thinking of a similar idea, which is copying the same utau by making that particular utau sing the samples, just like what you said! Setting that aside, CV voicebanks has a potential for it to sound smooth, depending on how one otos their voicebank!

I wanna make a CV voicebank but still have no idea on how to OTO :((( I have a crappy VCV voicebank that I recorded around ~2022 summer when I was still learning how to pronounce things (not just Japanese, but in general. I h8 speech impediments) and the R is SUPER pronounced. Wish I could use it, but again idk how the hell otoing works and i still cant figure out utau 💔
@@Twiddle_things Try to look up several tutorials to be introduced with the basics of otoing in UTAU and how its done. From there on out, you will get the hang of the process with more practice in each time you configure a voicebank. Even I took a long time mastering otoing. You can do it :DDD!
