Hey Milky..it honestly depends on the field of practice your are in, which are you are practicing in and the size of the law firm😅 so just being an attorney does not guarantee that you’ll be earning big bucks
Hey girl, love the video ❤❤ I'm first year at uct studying psy but I do want to study law, so how does the postgrad LLB works - 3years, I'm doing a general 3 year psy degree BSC..!👀eish I need a bit of clarity
Hey April🤗I'm glad you loved the video! Unfortunately I can't speak certainly about how things work at UCT but I know at UJ if start with another degree, and then transfer to the law faculty, you so have to start at first year again but there will be those non-law modules i.e English that you perhaps did in you previous degree that you will be expemptrf from repeating. My advice is for you to go and enquire at the law faculty on what transferring to LLB at a later stage would entail. I hope my 2 cents help, all the best and do let me know how it goes! 🤗

Being a Candidate attorney is tough Chile 🔥🔥🔥throws flames everywhere…You’re literally a baby lawyer. You’re learning from scratch.Plus those exams 🔥🔥never ending I’m a Namibian Candidate Attorney.
I couldn't agree more! It's really tough😩 I'm curious, how many exams are you supposed to write? Also how many years are you required to do in order for you to qualify as an admitted attorney?
@@nonku_m Hey , it’s a 9 months program lol. You are required to complete a 600 hours attachment/ clerkship at a law firm within 9 months . We have 11 modules from Justice Training that we are suppose to complete within the 9 months . However, there is no fixed time really. You get admitted once you pass everything and your hours are enough. Reasonable people usually take about 2 years to finish 😵🥲. It is tough because you’re trying to balance work and school and both really require your best .
In addition, we get a right of appearance in the lower courts for a year and a half . It expires after and you can only appear again post admission.
Woah,😲that's intense! This profession really is cut throat😓 but I always try and look at it like this: the fact that people get admitted as attorneys yearly means it's not at all impossible, as tough as it is
being home is the PITS!!l
