Drinking the cup of God's judgment is a picture used frequently in Scripture Jeremiah 25:15, 49:12; It gives the impression of taking a dose of one's own medicine. Ido speaks very passionately and fast.☺️ But he is sharing the Gospel, and bringing up several Bible verses. He first reads Jeremiah 31:31- 34 about " a New Covenant. As Yoel just had a heart attack the day before, Ido talks about how God will take our heart of stone, and give us a heart of flesh. Later, he reads the geneology of Yeshua (son of David) from Matthew, and the first verses from John. "In the beginning was the Word", etc. Yoel asked " why did they crucify him?", and got a very good answer. He kept saying over and over "all that you say is true, you're not lying". He believes that it's true, but he is afraid of what his family would say if they see that he has a New Testament. They finish when Ido is about to pray for him, off camera.
