Whats the best thing a mage can use to break things like doors and defense buildings? I started playing a few days ago so all this stuff is still new to me. Ik fire is good for anything wood but there is so many options available that it seems maybe something else could be better?

My main issue with the game is that you can’t use max title gear on lower or no title characters after unlocking the ability cause most games you might get enough score to use that character once for a minute or less that whole game

The main thing you need to remember with the lolthsworn drow - which I’m not entirely sure is communicated well - is that their cruelty is an actual part of DnD lore. Hesitation is rightly founded. Cruelty isn’t even an option that they can choose to stray from, it’s literally commanded by their god, Lolth. If they ever disobey the wishes of lolth or fall out of her favor, or even just embarrass themselves too much, their god will - without exaggeration or hyperbole - use arcane torture on them so severe that and for so long that by the time it’s over, they are so mutilated that they don’t even qualify as elves anymore - this is how you get the drow hybrids known as Driders. The reason we see racism towards tieflings as so unfair is because it’s genuinely uncalled for. Tieflings getting a bad rap isn’t because they’re genuinely evil - they’re the equivalent of being an underprivileged minority. Sometimes crime is the only way to get their needs met when society fails to regard them. DnD has actual lore behind what is real, genuine racism. People forget that IRL, race is a social construct - there are no human subraces. In faerun, if you’re talking to a mountain dwarf and a druegar, you are speaking to two ENTIRELY different sets of people whose actual established backgrounds are so far removed from one another that they might as well not even be dwarves.

I'm guessing the premise of this video is pure clickbait view chasing (in my case you have obvs succeeded, well done). If you think bg3 is racist you have obviously never experienced racism. Plus, this is set in a medieval setting so if it was racist it would be accurate, not condoning racism btw. Bye.

Played first as a tiefling, then as a drow. Loved how unique each experience was, and I won't lie, fictional prejudice has helped me with real life experiences lol. It reminds me of dragon age (at least origins and 2) with the mage conflict. Great video :)

Yeah, forgotten realms in general happen to be pretty racist. Even "good" races like high elves or humans tend to look down on others for various reasons. However when it comes to drow, fear is founded, because they are extremely dangerous, violent and prejudice people. Usually meeting a drow in Underdark is very bad news and on the surface is a death sentence. It physically painful for them to be in bright light and their magic is acting wonky on top, so they wonder off from Underdark only to slaughter surfacers in the name of Spider Queen. There are few seldarine drow worshiping Eilistraee or Melikki and trying to return to their elven roots before Corellian curse and be friendlier to other people, but they are very very rare. They are also deadly warriors due to Eilistrae being goddess of the hunt and requiring her clergy to be proficient with swords. It's like they won't attack unprovoked, but they totally can slice their adversary to ribbons. So it's totally understandable why people would be at least cautious around drow.

it's not mostly a question of racism, but it's just some who can't seem to be bothered about DND race Lore, as the Drow were known to do dark and cruel things, same also for the githyanki, or duegar, but however most races can mistake 2 types, Seladrine drow, as they follow Ellistrea the daughter of loth and corellian, as they embrace the sun and try to be more open/supportive, and the second race half drow, which from their drow side are mostly from thier Seladrine origin.

I'm loving Starfield (with some mods). As someone who likes space sims, I do wish in-atmosphere flight and a better flight model was in the game. Would be my perfect game if it did, but I understand why it's not.
