I might be in the minority, but becoming elite at putting is more quickly attainable than hitting most fairways and getting on most greens. My coach told that recently he played 9 holes at our home course, missed every green, but still finished at an even par. Every time we practice im amazed at how good his chipping and putting is. Idk you, but i believe you can get to a point where you hit at least half of those putts for par

Focus definitely on those tee shots mate, being in the first cut rough is enough to make it 50% harder to make a GIR. Long grind over winter and you’ll be great by march golf time

I went from a near 30 at the start of the year, down to a 15 this year. Took lessons and played in a developmental league. This taught me a lot of course management, and working at setting up my second shot. Don’t kill a driver if your max drive sets you up for a bad second shot. That could mean hazards, in the trees, or a range that you struggle. If you can’t hit a 60 yard shot but can nail a 100 yard shot, try to leave yourself that 100 yard shot.

tip 2 is a good bandaid but your going to average better from 50 than 110 especially as you get better. you have to be decent with wedges. numbers dont lie and they say closer to the green the better
