Our Karuizawa Getaway~ 🏞 nature spots, local supermarket, cafe, museum | 3d2n 軽井沢 旅行itinerary vlog
มุมมอง 5703 หลายเดือนก่อน
I've always known about Karuizawa but was never drawn to it, mainly because its main attraction seemed to be the outlet mall, and shopping isn't really my thing... but I recently rewatched the Ouran High School anime, which featured two episodes set in Karuizawa... and that's how we ended up on this trip LOL. Despite skipping the outlet mall, we packed our itinerary with plenty of activities an...

มุมมอง 1.2K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
We finally visited Taito Station Fuchu Kururu (タイトーステーション府中くるる店) , the arcade with the most crane machines (aka claw machines) in the world! Besides the sheer number of machines, the best part was the super helpful staff who helped reposition multiple toys for an easier catch - you gotta watch the video to see just HOW UNBELIEVABLY MUCH they helped us with our catches 🥹🙏🙇🏻♀️🙇🏻 HIGHLY HIGHLY RE...

here’s a vlog of our first ever glamping trip at kawaguchiko, yamanashi! we barbecued, watched the sunset, played with “fireworks”, hiked, soaked in an open-air onsen, and overdosed on mount fuji views 😌 it’s never easy to find an activity that each family member enjoys equally, but this did it for us! i'd definitely recommend adding it to your itinerary if you're doing your japan trip planning...

this is a tokyo solo travel vlog, where i mostly explore and stumble upon some cool places because i did zero japan trip planning LOL the highlight of this tokyo solo travel trip was definitely staying at a cat artist's airbnb - chilling in that old japanese house with 4 cats and exploring the quaint little neighbourhood of nezu that it was in, was what my frazzled soul needed 😌😽 other vlogs fr...

When searching for things to do in Jeonju city, most of what we could find revolved around the hanok village and choco pies (didn't sound too interesting to us). So we decided to step out of the city, and were rewarded with the most peaceful and scenic spots - which was just what we needed to heal our tired souls :') 01:05 Our super pretty airbnb!! มุมมอง 2052 ปีที่แล้ว
Here's Busan vlog part 2, which covers what we did on our 3rd and 4th days in Busan :D We had already covered most of what we wanted to do in Busan by then, so we explored the less touristy areas, which led to some pretty...unique experiences LOL Editing this vlog made me realize that those 2 days were just... one mishap after another hahaha but it was definitely fun!! I really enjoyed editing ...
Busan south korea vlog: beach, markets, and everything in between (part 1)
มุมมอง 1552 ปีที่แล้ว
Our second stop in south korea: busan!! Sadly, this busan vlog doesn't do the place justice because there was so much to do and we were too preoccupied with having fun... so much so that we forgot to vlog about our experience T_T In short: Haeundae beach was beautiful (but crowded), and busan was really THE place for traditional market lovers! I promise the next busan vlog will be better LOL NO...

You deserve more subscribers, thank you for this beautiful video ❤
Arigatō for the tips! I’ll be solo’ing Hakone in Autumn. My stay will only be a day tho so your insight really helped me. 😇
hakone in autumn sounds beautiful! may the weather kami-sama (god) be on your side, and may you get a beautiful view of the momiji!! 🙏
watching this made me feel so happy for you and the life you're living rn!!! <3
ありがとうね、レイちゃん :’)一緒に日本語勉強をできたら、いいね〜
Happy burpday! I also close my eyes when I'm tasting something new, haha. My friends find it funny 😂 (why?!) Life is all about the simple joys, I feel. Grateful you have a lot of those in your life! 🤗
thank you maitatoy!! for hearing me and for being a source of joy in my life too :>
i also want to work remotely and be a digital nomad~ 🥺
できるよ!あきらめないと、あの夢を向かって!
Happy Birthday.... My thirties were definitely the most enjoyable so far. You're in for a great time!
thank you! it seems so scary, but many ppl seem to share the same sentiments as you haha 🤞
Happy basday! I feel your contentment from this video and love it 🎉
looking forward to your basday vlog LOL
Im going to be here for the first time in November and have been so nervous about the whole trip. All your videos are so relaxing and have calmed me down :) Thank you!
Thanks so much, that really means a lot! 😊 What’s been making you feel nervous about the trip though? Let me know if you wanna know more about the place - I’d love to help if I can!
@@weejyworld Oh, getting around in general, the language barrier etc :) We'll have been to Tokyo, Hakone and Kyoto by the time we get to Karuizawa though so I am also hoping by then we'll be much. more comfortable navigating.
@@Heynowrcp ohh yes i totally get that - even with a bit of Japanese under my belt, I felt a little anxious about getting around and communicating my first time there 😅 but honestly, I think you’ll do fine! the places you're visiting are generally pretty friendly to non-Japanese speakers, and most people there know at least some basic English. plus, in my experience, Japanese people are super helpful and patient! 💕
Was this the beginning of April?
hi, yes! i was there from 9 - 11 Apr :)
Wow it was awesome that there aren't many people there when you visited. May I know when was this? I'm going in late april next year (20ish) and wondering if I'd be as lucky as you 😂
i was there from 9 - 11 Apr! which are the popular attractions you're planning to visit? for hakone shrine, i reached at 7am and it was just me and another couple thank goodness haha
Thanks for this video! I really enjoyed it. Im doing a solo trip to Hakone in October, so I was wondering if you had any advice on what to hit for a 1 day trip specifically?
hi timothy! i'm so glad to hear you enjoyed the video 🥰 will you be driving or taking public transport? and what's your previous stop before hakone? i'm asking because i think that would influence where you might want or can go in hakone within a day!
@@weejyworld im planning on taking public transport (both while in Hakone and coming from Shibuya, Tokyo)!
@@timothyvales4555 hmm perhaps the hakone shrine, hakone sightseeing cruise and mishima skywalk? i'm not sure if it'd be possible for you, but try to reach hakone shrine by 8am latest to avoid the crowds! if not, consider heading over at sunset - i read online that the view is great and there would be much less ppl as well among the places i introduced in my vlog, i think i would deprioritise owakudani and the old tokaido road/ amasake tea house if i only had one day to spend in the area!
@@weejyworld Good call on sunset at the Hakone shrine! Dont want to be with the crowd if I can help it... Thank you for the advice!
@@timothyvales4555 no prob! lmk if it's really less crowded at sunset so i can share this tip with others more confidently haha
HAHA the toy catching part is cute!
i thought the other parts were cuter LOL
love the chill vibes of karuizawa ~
yeah~ I can't wait to go back again!
Thank you for creating all your videos!
thank you for watching them~ 😌
sugoi desu ne!
hehe thank you!
Amazing!! What a wonderful experience 😍😍😍
😌🥰☺
When in April was this? I’m planning a trip for mid April next year.
hello! this was during the 2nd week of april :)
Ahhh this video was nerve wracking to watch but SOOOO CUTE!!!!
😝🥰🤩
Wow so funny and many cute and fluffy toys ❤
🤭🤗
so fun~
yassss! i would have spent all my money there if not for the self-imposed budget!
Amazing catches🎉
hehe thank you!
Sakura Ebi Kan looked so delish! The cat pastries are so adorbs! How was the yam soup? Such a thick soup, like oatmeal almost! Thanks for sharing this video 🐱🧡😻
it was a mild, savoury soup - i don't really know how to describe the taste because it was the first time tasting something like that! and i was the only one who enjoyed it hahaha 😆 THANKS FOR WATCHING ❤︎
Would love to rent a kimono near the area. Do you have any suggestions?
How much does the glamping rental cost?
hello! we paid 47,520 JPY for one night, and an extra 5,500 JPY for the BBQ equipment including charcoal
@@weejyworld how about the wagyu beef and other food u used to bbq?
@@jerng1352 hello! the BBQ equipment charge doesn't cover the food we ate in the video - we bought it in the supermarket at a separate cost :) however, you can get BBQ ingredients through them too! it starts from 5000yen for a set for 2 - 3 ppl. you can check out the prices under the "BBQ ingredients" section on this page: shakushi--gc-com.translate.goog/optional-service/?_x_tr_sl=ja&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=wapp
Stunning view! So worth the money! Your family is lovely :)
thank you maitatoy! 😘
You’re videos are so refreshing. Aesthetic but also genuine. I’m really glad to have found your channel!
aww, thank you! your comment is so sweet 🥰 i try to capture my experiences just as they are, and i'm glad you enjoy it hehe
loveee 🤩🤩
hehehe
I want to go!!
go!! you won't regret it~
It’s so beautiful and peaceful!
ikr?? i would go again
I want to gooooo 😍
hehehe 🤭
Been there long ago. That place looks the same after 24 years. Im surprised. Maybe shouldn’t go back hakone
wow that's amazing! in the sense that they have managed to preserve the place really well 🤯
Nice video :) can I ask you where the outdoor onsen is located at? Thank you !!
hello! the outdoor onsen is located within Onsen Guesthouse Tsutaya, which was where I stayed in hakone! :)
I like your video very relaxing
aww, thank you!
Hey there! Are we allowed to go into the onsen with a swimsuit?
nope, not for the onsens in tatsuya ryokan! but their onsens were empty on both nights i visited, so... i hope that might help make it less intimidating for you!
Love the video, I'm planning to go tokyo soon and visit hakone as well. May I know what's the food store called at 12:24 (the homey one)
hello! it was called restaurant ran, but according to google maps it seems to have closed down a few months back that’s why i didn’t include it in the video… here’s the google map link in case it helps: maps.app.goo.gl/dkb9uuPyv8rnkwQs5?g_st=ic
@@weejyworld awww Issok. Thanks for tellinggg
I am going to hakone in a month! What time you see the mount fuji at day 3? I wish to see it 😊
hello! i saw mount fuji around 10am that day :) hope you get clear skies when you visit hakone in may!🤞🏻
what a cute airbnb omg
ikr!! i loved it sooo much 🥹 i can send you the airbnb link if you want it!
Lovely video, wish i can travel to japan soon. New sub here
hope you get to go japan soon!! 🤞🏻
Lovely video! I'm heading to Japan in 2 weeks and added this to my itinerary. Have a lovely day :)
aww i’m glad to hear this video has been helpful! :’)
Very pretty. We had rain and cloud two weeks ago so no views. Still had an amazing time
Thank you for this video. I am going to Tokyo in May and Yanaka is one of the areas on my to-visit list! :)
nice! yayy i’m glad you’re visiting yanaka ginza, it definitely deserves more love and attention haha
cute cat 😸
😻😽😸
Thanks for sharing the video, by the description I just wanted to confirm with you again, was this in April 2023, and what was the temperature at that time in Hakone, it looks pretty cold by your dress.
hello! yes, this was in April 2023 and it was pretty cold. i can't remember the exact temperature for sure, but i think it ranged from single digit to less than 20 degrees celsius. also, it was really windy at some parts, which made it feel even colder than the forecasted temperature!
I just visited Hakone 2 weeks ago! It was so freaking cold I think it hit 0 one day 😢 I was super underdressed too haha. Hakone is so pretty but I just hate the bus schedules, once you miss one you have to wait ~15-30minutes (IN THE COLD) for the next one. Wish I stayed in a Ryokan with onsen like yours because there really isn't much to do at night as the buses don't run / are super infrequent
omggg that's really cold! for some reason, hakone tends to end up much colder than expected... i'm traveling back to the area this month, and i'm packing much warmer clothing this time haha
Ivisited Hakone November 2023. loved the quietness and beautiful views. Defs need to go again solo. Hope you enjoyed:)
yes i definitely enjoyed my time there! hope you get to go again soon :)
Wow, beautiful Japan. Nice travel, friend.
🥰
you are such a vibe !!
😌
I have some insights about your channel. Your video quality, cinematography, and storytelling are very good. But the thumbnail is average and the video SEO section is very poor.
so true! the story telling is awesome! why do you say that the SEO is poor though? just curious.
@@ctsh7528 As a digital marketer, I have analyzed that the channel is not fully optimized.
I actually clicked on her video because of that clean thumbnail so u r wrong there bro
@@TwoFourFrames i agree with you bro. Her video thumbnail is clean but not eye catchy.
@@TwoFourFramesthis guy comments this on lots of channels it’s just a copy paste comment. He’s just trying to get some freelance design work I guess lol
Nice video, I'll be there in may :-). question: I'm planning to take the romance car/train as well. Is it possibe to bring luggage (mid size) on board?
yes, that's possible! there's a luggage section where you can place your luggage, and i had a large 26" luggage with me :) if you can, i would recommend going early so you're the first few in queue to board the train! sometimes there might not be enough space in your cabin's luggage deposit area, so you'll have to place your luggage in another cabin. going early helps to avoid that!
damn that fishcake looks delish. up down up down~
