@ollie1464 yea it would have been $5k to $6k for full body paint, but I was trying to manage the budget carefully. It's always a hard decision on how much money to throw at a 20 year old motorhome.

@gruponemesis hey thanks for that info, biggest mistake I made was traveling straight to Oregon and subjecting the paint to continuous rain, its still looks great, but feel like a good wax would have been smart

@landnseaexpeditions6208 nah...wax is worse...its the reason for the no wash policy as almost all soaps have some kind of wax. The paint, although appear to have dried...continues to off gas. The hotter the weather the faster it off gasses. 90 days could be 2 weeks somewhere like south texas. Just paint my prevost...and at the orice you listed...i would have went there instead. Did the job myself but it was intense!

@artdirdave well the security is pretty tight at that place so I don't think you have much to worry about.

@sldghamr58 yea, I saw a jeep they painted, and for most part think they do good work, I don't think I would take any classic, or especially valuable car to them, but then I saw some incredible work they did on a half million dollar motorcoach, so ...

Yes, for sure among the best values you can find for a good paint job, and you can enjoy the beach, just plan to stay for a while.

Well the process getting to Rocky Point, negotiating, sanding, prepping, and what you can do while you are there is likely more important to most people than just the painting, but I do appreciate your comment and I will start breaking up the content in the future to make it easier to navigate.

Sorry for my late response I missed this post. Yea there is a heavy steel beam that runs the width of a Leopard 48, It does show a little bit of rust, and that cabinet was very dirty but really I don't think that bit of rust on such a heavy beam is any concern.

@@matthewmoore7805 hey there thank you for the comment. Well I guess I could have booked a hotel, but I was trying to stay on a budget and Really more comfortable in Fin. Also I wasn't in any rush, a month of low stress life on the beach was so nice, I can't wait to go back. So yea they could have done everything in 2 weeks if it were in a shop, but If I had to do again I would still go to the beach. No safety concerns at all. I will probably be back in the future for upholstery and who knows

@@ray-ban819 Beverly and I broker up when I had to travel back to the US unexpectedly, then refused to allow any photo of her online or tell the story. I am trying to regroup and hope to go back and use the old footage plus 18 more videos never got published 1000s of hours of work down the drain.

Yea, we broke up and now she doesn't want any images of her online, so 18 videos that will never be seen, 34 total videos I can't post. 1000's of hours of work lost. So I am regrouping and figuring out how to proceed, I am working on some new stuff, trying hard to get it together and get back to publishing.
